The funny thing is, we wait half the year for this?

My fellow Cowboys diehards, another year has come (and essentially gone) and we endure. Yet again we have been served a buffet of bitter pills and disappointment. Worst of all, all of you, like myself, so eagerly wait for each season to get here. Hope springs eternal year after year, feeling the law of averages will allow us to finally have 'that year' once again. Only to again have to face the harsh reality that there appears to be no end in sight to the failure.

It sucks that we wait year after year to again find ourselves at this point.

I'm betting the final kick in the pills will be a meaningless 'win' in week 17 after we gack up the division to the Eagles. One that serves nothing and no one but the soon-to-be-ex-coach on his next stop. One that will do nothing but screw up draft position. Like he's done to this franchise again and again and again.

We all deserve better.

I think the Cowboys will drafter between 10 and 12 this year. The question is, what do they go for considering the entire team is a disappointment?

So the point of the thread is that nothing sucks as bad as winning your Division. And nothing is better than firing your coach after a season where they won a playoff game.

You know what is just awesome? Paypalling me everything in your checking account.

I was pretty optimistic coming into this season but I've pretty much learned to accept it for what it is. If this team ever wins it all again, I'll be as thrilled as anyone but I've stopped expecting success.

Yep. This is the time I set back and say it’s a long offseason. Enjoy the ride, but it’s bs. Yes the offseason is long. And I will try to watch every play of every game. But this year seem like just a really poor showing by these players. The coaching is the same and I knew what to expect. But these players holding out on having surgery to get paid and holding out TC to get paid. Then JJ gives them what they want and we get rewarded like this. It’s making it very hard to enjoy the ride. I know that this team pretty much waits till they have there backs against the wall to do anything, then does just enough to make it to the playoffs. Well it’s now time. Drop another game and will almost need to win out or hope the egirls lose.

Is it just me or does it seem like these players aren’t giving effort this year. I mean less than years before. They all want to get paid and Dak opens his mouth and says everyone will be able to get paid there worth. Then I watch him stand there and hold the ball all day looking down field refusing to use his legs, Elliot is his release valve and is standing there open. Dak is a good QB but I am guessing JJ will over pay for him.

"You know what's awesome?" Fans like you, who actually DO hand over their checking account - to Jerry Jones. Sheeple who will continue to try to defend every stupid thing they do and attack other fans when things go to ****.

But I'm glad folks like you just simply lower their expectations so that the Cowboys can somehow meet them. I'm sure Jerry says a prayer for you folks every night. Right after he checks on his bank account.

It's funny, I've apparently become numb. I watched that beatdown they took yesterday and I wasn't even mad. Not upset, not angry, not surprised. Indifferent. Just waiting for the season to end. And a waste of ten years plus go finally end as well. That's where any shred of hope I have left comes from. Knowing this clown is going to be sent packing. Ten years too late, but sent packing nonetheless.

Like when they are 3-5 last year and things go to schize like a playoff win. I can't believe the sheeple didn't join hands and walk out into the ocean after that.

Good times, good times. I think they may have actually won one of two playoff games in the last decade then too, right?

Lower that limbo bar.

And everyone who watched that playoff game was "sheeple". Got it, Mr Spock.
