Why do we deserve better?

Because the Cowboys ask us to be their fans, and we obliged.
We sat patiently through the 80's, and again through the late 90's after Jerry destroyed a dynasty.
Then he hands the team over to the equivalent of a kindergarten level, special ed coach.
We were promised professional leadership from the greatest franchise in sports, and instead were forced to endure Jason Garrett.
And the sales pitch of a perennial "Wait till next year!" franchise.
We deserve better.

Jimmy mentioned Jerry’s mindset back then was solely focused on repaying the $140 million he borrowed to purchase the team. That allowed him to run the football operation which led to the championships. I wish he were still repaying that loan.
