It would not matter to me, I like the fiery Aikman and Romo will be creative and I believe he is more of a football junkie than Aikman

Romo ain't going back to that mess.
He's a happy positive guy but deep down he knows his career could have been so much better with a competent GM/Owner.
He has the perfect life now, time to raise his 3 boys and be with his lovely wife, play golf, and announce games to almost universal acclaim.

I think Aikman is most interested in a front office job with his eye on GM. In terms of head coach, don't know if he would make a good one. He's gotten grumpier and don't know how he would manage the players.

Romo has a great understanding of the game and could be a rockstar offensive coordinator. As a head coach could he hold the team accountable? Not sure.

I agree Romo would make a great OC, he had said in the past that once he retired he wanted to be an OC, but that was before he was offered the cushy booth job. I doubt he would leave it too. But with that being said does not mean Jerry will not offer the job. Really I cannot seeRomo being firm with players, but who really knows.

If he goes into coaching and then as a coordinator, I can't see it being under the HC or GM that screwed up his chances at a SB as a player. He might as well stay put with a perfect job that lets him spend lots of time with the family....rather than having to deal with Jerry's tinkering.

I think it is more likely Jerry would televise practice and hire Aikman and/or Romo to commentate the broadcast than it would be for him to make either a head coach. To be honest, I'm surprised Jerry hasn't starting broadcasting practices for the money. It seems just like the coach neutering move Jerry would make.
