I ended up going to bed by the third quarter only to end up having sex with my girlfriend.
I was more tired at work today than I would've been if I just finished watching the game

I feel the same way as a 50 year fan. For the first in my life, I rooted for the other team yesterday so we can blow up this coaching staff. I will be rooting for the other team the rest of the year.
I did that as well

Same here... after the 3 and out after half time. Done. This is only the second time I turned off a game in my life. Been watching since Dorsett.

I turned the game off at halftime. First time ever. We need something to change.

48 Year fan and counting.
For quite some time now I go into every game hoping for a big blowout win.
And for quite a while now, when I see terrible play like last night, I find myself hoping for a blowout loss to hasten the departure of this puppet-clown coach.

Been a fan about 30 years these last 24 have sucked besides 5-7 of them. I work a lot so I miss more games than I used to but I'm not missing much lol

59 year fan here and still watching like the foolhardy Cowboys addict that I have endlessly become. They still entertain me, but not quite as much as before, as you might understand and have personally experienced. This team still interesting to me, especially so, since it's at a time whereby their camouflaged incompetency has come to be exposed. Yes, they're talented but not as much as their overstated hype has led many of us to believe.

Thank goodness that this farce has finally come out into the open and finally be rather fully exposed. At least, some new coaching talent will be dutifully studied and considered as fair replacements. Some who have already seen too many years of mediocre leadership, came into question and at long last, a strong likelihood of dismissal now exists.

The recent acceptance of the need for change comes like a breath of fresh air to me and hopefully, it has done much the same for many of you, as well. The ending of this season and the beginning of a new offseason of much-needed change should be an intriguing adventure to enjoy and offer, at least, some measure of hope for a new beginning.

Even in the 1-15 season, I watched the games because I knew we were bad, and there was progress as the season went on.
I liked 1-15. Young players playing hard and getting better.

Much better than watching an old and tired team get worse. Or watching players held back by the coaching staff.

Right now, it's just old and tired coaches holding the team back. Dead men walking. The rest of the season is just being wasted. Better chance to win with Garrett gone. Much better chance to evaluate Moore and Dak.

I have been an active fan for 40 years, watching every game since about 6 years old. For the first time in my life, I have turned off the game two weeks in a row in the third quarter.

You could have just come here and posted on the game thread. It is becoming like a support group for those of us that are so upset at the way our team is being run.

But this year, with the talent we have, this is just a poop show. And while many here will blame Dak, the defense and lack of scheming is atrocious. The offense is basic vanilla ice cream with a few pre snap motions thrown in there.

Garrett is a joke. Marnelli is old and tired. Richard looks lost. Moore is the delivery boy. Jones is a hypocrite.

I can relate 100%. I'm actually looking forward to NOT watch their football games to avoid disappoinment.

50 + years fan here. I turned the game off at halftime, could tell it was going to be a disaster. I can't take it anymore, I tell ya.

On a business trip in London. I woke up at 1:20am to watch the game, and I turned it off at halftime too. The writing was on the wall, what’s the point? And yeah, I haven’t turned a game off in decades. Last year I was on this same trip and went into work with 2 hours of sleep after that upset Saints win. What a difference a year makes.

Kinda sad but Im to the point I may not even watch the rest of them and I actually hope we lose out
Atleast we get a better pick
I’m more excited about who the new HC is gonna be than watching

Unlike the game last night, at least you got to enjoy the end of sex with your girlfriend.

52 year old fan. Have not missed a game since 1987 and that's a good trick as i live in New Jersey (think 1987 was the rise of "Poor Billy's" sports bar in Woodbridge NJ, all the central Jersey out of town fans could finally see their teams every week, and I was 19 and had a car.) For the first time I can remember I don't care if I see the Ram game or not. Just don't care. Cannot imagine talent level being so high (on offense) and team having a losing record. Defense is HORRIBLY overrated. No interior D so pass rush from sides is easily contained with double teams and chips, the linebackers are single purpose players, not athletes, and the secondary is a complete joke.

Still, no reason not to be at least 11-5 or 10-6 with this offense and the schedule we've played. If Collins gets a nod this year we will have current and past pro bowlers in 9 of 11 offensive positions (only Gallup and Williams missing... Smith, Martin, Fredbeard, Coop, Zeke, Dak, Witten, Cobb, all been). Think on that.

Glad I drink. ;-)

If this is a low point for the 40 or 50 years of fan hood some of you are throwing out, you may want to schedule an appointment with your physician. If you can remember his or her name...
