I have been an active fan for 40 years, watching every game since about 6 years old. For the first time in my life, I have turned off the game two weeks in a row in the third quarter. Even in the 1-15 season, I watched the games because I knew we were bad, and there was progress as the season went on.

But this year, with the talent we have, this is just a poop show. And while many here will blame Dak, the defense and lack of scheming is atrocious. The offense is basic vanilla ice cream with a few pre snap motions thrown in there.

Garrett is a joke. Marnelli is old and tired. Richard looks lost. Moore is the delivery boy. Jones is a hypocrite.

I feel the same way as a 50 year fan. For the first in my life, I rooted for the other team yesterday so we can blow up this coaching staff. I will be rooting for the other team the rest of the year.

2nd time for me, I did want them to lose in late 1988 so they can have the first pick and get Aikman, and that worked out

I'm not embarrassed anymore, that ship sailed a long time ago. I was actually rooting for the Bears last night...I was cheering every Trubisky run, making our defense look silly. There is no purpose in hoping for a win anymore. We know Garrett is gone, now it's all about draft positioning. This team doesn't need a meaningless playoff game for experience, they have already been to 3 playoff games. Winning the division but getting whooped by the 49ers or Seahawks in the wildcard round won't be some type of moral victory for next year. Lose baby lose!

I muted the TV and just watched something else on my laptop. Was too ridiculous to watch that constantly.

I turned the game off after the Bears took a 24-7 lead and watched a TV show with my wife before going to bed. I would have endured the game if it were on a Sunday afternoon but wasn't going to waste anymore time on a Thursday night watching that garbage knowing I had to get up early and work.

I went to a company party. Sneaked a few peeks at the hotel bar, went back to the party. I didn’t miss much of the deliberate tank job this team is doing accidentally on purpose...

They are only losing by a few points, just enough to keep stats up for the agents, but clearly losing on purpose...

I just stayed back for Jerry's post game rant. Once the drunkard spoke, I went to bed content.

Watching Jerry fail to justify Garrett's performance in his post game vomit, was brilliant .

Have you not been watching last quarter century?

One great thing about threads like these and the thread about the Jones radio interview is that I get to give the 'ignore' button a good workout.

Been one since day one. Turned it off. As I did last week. Those are the first times ever.

Never turned one off, and I never had the luxury of seeing any Super Bowls either. Not saying I watch because I still believe, but I can’t fathom turning one off.

For the first time in my life (43 year fan of the Cowboys) I turned my TV off with 9 minutes left to go in the game and went to bed and I NEVER do that!

The apathy and disgust toward this organization has been building so much over the past years, and when you put a product out that the fans have no interest in or find unentertaining, then there is no enthusiasm to continue to spend time watching it. If Jones has any intelligence in that exasperatingly blowhard of a head of his, he would quickly realize he better do something powerful to bring back the fanbase. I'm a 55 yrs. Cowboy fan and I'm really shocked at the lack of energy and lack of excitement or joy I no longer have toward following this pro team. I never thought I would get to this point, but it's just not worth it, given the mediocrity and delusional state of this team.

50 + years fan here. I turned the game off at halftime, could tell it was going to be a disaster. I can't take it anymore, I tell ya.
