No that is ****** rich.

here is the order of blame in a game played by actual players
1) players
2) players
3) players
4) players
5-9) players

10) coaches

Every coach that ever coached and every plyer that ever played will tell you the same.

YES, the coaches are to blame for sure. But BY FAR the players are always first as that is who actually plays the game.

There is blame on both but you have to break it down like this. If the players have a chance but fail to execute that is on them. We can blame both parties.

If the Cooper is open upon his break and Dak misses him it's the fault of the players. If Kellen gets too cute and refuses to call a run play inside the 20, that's on coaches.

If Jaylon misses a tackle its on the player, if marinelli tells his stupid DT's to rush to the outside and vacate the middle of the DL that's on the coaches.

Stop it. We discussed you stating opinions as fact. Dont blame the players for the coaching staff failing them.
The players needs to take some of the blame as well. All of this poor execution falls directly on the player’s shoulders. It is no different than everybody blaming Linehan. Well, Linehan is gone , but the problem still remains. At some point the finger needs to be pointed at the one constant in this mess and that is the players.

The Cowboys have an incurable case of the "blahs".

And even us fans have it. I know I do. There's little sense of excitement for me on gamedays lately. I almost wish they could reset the season and start it over.

It's strange. I've been a fan for many, many years and never felt so......indifferent.

I havent read it here or anywhere else online, but I was listening to 107.7 the franchise (sport radio station out of Oklahoma City) last Sunday evening while driving. Im not sure of the sportscaster or "insider" that was reporting it, but they said there was a lot of internal conflict and "negative scuffles" (not the good kind-reporters words) during practices leading up to the Bears game. He said they were not good practices, players didnt look crisp, and it was no surprise to him how they looked in Chicago due to what was seen during the week. I heard the name "Fisher" during the segment, but not certain this came from him. Did I just miss these reports elsewhere? Anyone else heard anything? Not surprising, but hadnt seen or heard this anywhere else in the last week or so.

Who needs crispness and motivation? Blimey, the players have their money, are treated like kings and rock stars, have endorsements, and have glamorous lives away from football.
And there is no accountability.
What could possibly go wrong?
