Ertz is a monster receiving TE (If Jarwin can be 3/4 of what he is that would be GREAT, I think he can develop into that if he gets sufficient playing time). Respect him, respect Stanford (have ties to them), but it makes me sad to see my all-time favorite player's records get broken left and right. As for taking the lion's share of targets, well, that's what happens when the wide receivers go down like this turning you into the only real target.

I think Witten would care more about being in the Hall of fame then a superbowl ring or some "fastest to a certain amount of yards" record.

The whole ring fascination is mostly an old school fan thing unfortuantely. Modern day players care about having a hall of fame career that pays you 2 or 3 high dollar contracts

Except Foles targeted Ertz as much as Wentz. Everyone loves this narrative but it isn’t correct.

Alshon liked Foles better because Foles threw a ton of 50/50 balls to Him. Wentz doesn’t throw those and Alshon isn’t getting a ton of seperation.

he’s had a hall of fame career and made the money, all that he hasn’t done is win a ring. Do you really think he came back to play this year at the salary he is making to pad stats?

seriously records are meant to be broken and right now Kittle is the best TE in football with Kelce 2nd and ertz third..so shrug.. someone always comes along to one up you eventually..especially in a pas happy league passing and receiving records will be smashed and most will know its no longer an Era comp, you have to sperate them with an Asterisk..like the juiced MLB era and what not. NBA with less defense and 7 footers jacking up 10 3s a game..
