In all seriousness, what would you do?

Another thing....I am so glad I sold my PSL's and season tickets in 2016...I have never regretted it, and never will.
I was lucky and broke even. As now no one would offer anything for them.

I’m hoping jerry just being respect to Garrett
Someone will explain to him that coaching is why we are done and the eagles are still playing. Coaching is why the Steelers still had a shot today
Coaching is what’s holding this team back and he’s too dang old to wait out another Garrett contract

Everyone who knows me knows me as a huge Cowboy fan so I wouldn't ***** out like some here who I don't think are that big or good of Cowboy fans to begin with.

I'd do my damndest to stop paying attention to this team. Maybe I'd get into college football and watch on Saturdays rather than Sundays?
I'll tell you the truth this has been the most down I think I've ever been on the Cowboys. I haven't even watched the games the last few weeks. I put the voice on the TV and I post in the game threads but I'm not even watching. I never thought I'd get this bad with this team. It's not the way I used to be when I was young and the team was actually trying to win something. If Garrett comes back there is no hope. Probably isn't much without him either but there's always a chance.

I will not be surprised if Jones dangles the rehiring of Garrett out there as long as he can, because he detests the thought of anyone or any group (i.e, fans ) forcing his hand. He's an absolute narcissistic idiot, so his approach will be to stroke his own ego in finally making a decision, ultimately with much bluster and ballyhoo. If he is so inclined to keep the status quo with Garrett, I would think he will try to temper it by releasing many of the assistant coaches. Irrespective, I have lost so much energy and passion myself in following this team over the past 25 yrs....due to the institutional mediocrity and failure, that I will probably keep moving my interest level away from this insane joke of team. Been following the Cowboys since '66, lived and "died" with them, but Jones has almost ruined my fanship for the team. Tired of watching a laughingstock of a team....

i got too much invested to let JJ and JG dictate what I do as a fan.
Im a Cowboys fan cause of Coach Landry,Roger,Tony D,Drew,Too Tall,Randy White,Harvey,Jeffcoat,Mike Hegman,Waters,Harris,Everson,Thurman,Downs,Danny White,Herschel,Rafferty.
Jerry Jones bought the business.

10 years eliminates all doubt that Garrett cannot get the job done. Any other coach might conceivably have a chance of doing something, however slim. I'll take slim chance over no chance.

Garrett coming back is Jerry saying "I'm doing what I want and what makes me happy and I don't care what anyone else thinks, least of all the fans that pay all the bills."

Basically an *** you to all of us, so if he's saying that to me, I'll say it right back to him and find another way to entertain myself and spend my time and money.

I would be ok with giving Garrett and most of this coaching staff 1 more year to prove themselves.

Go ahead, Jerry, keep the dummy and lose a lot of fan support. Your team, you own the results.

If Jerry doesn’t care enough to find a qualified HC then I won’t care as a fan. I have a lot of Cowboys merchandise that I will keep since many of those items were gifted to me by people I care about. But as far as my feelings go, they will be dead to me. Keeping Garrett is the proof I will need to convince me the Cowboys are just Jerry’s toy that he plays with for entertainment while giving the finger to the fans that have loved this team longer than he has. NFL in general will be erased from my interests. I hope it doesn’t come to that.

Now that our dysfunctional GM has started his buffoonery about possibly keeping Garrett what would you do if that happened?

I was 7 years old and living in Hurst Texas (in between Dallas and Fort Worth) when the Dallas Cowboys were born in 1960. I have followed them diligently for 59 years with many ups and downs but the focus was always on winning football games (or so I thought).

We currently have ownership that cares nothing about winning football games which directly contradicts what fandom entails. So after considerable thought I think I could actually give up my loyalty to this team if that were to occur.

I currently reside in East Texas, and the Kansas City Chiefs are the former Dallas Texans, and with Mahomes being an East Texas kid I think I could eventually adjust.

I would still keep up with the team at a distance until Jerry passed and this could return to resembling an NFL team that is focused once again on winning.
Bye...no one really cares if you, I, or any other poster leaves for another team. Just go...

I haven't officially "done" anything but my interest in the Cowboys is at an all time low, after almost 50 years.

I no longer buy merchandise, I no longer travel to games, and I no longer expect to compete for championships. Frankly, I'm at the point where I don't think a new coach will make much difference - Jerry has changed coaches several times already - as long as the organizational structure remains intact. I now just follow out of habit.

I'd file a court action to have Jerry involuntarily committed and then have the Cowboys taken away from the Jones family in the public interest. Its your last chance Jerry. Are you listening Stephen?

I agree......it also doesn't seem to bother him that most of the fanbase can't wait for him to die so we can get our team back.
