Dez would probably be an improvement over Witten that’s how bad Witten was. But we can do better than Dez by digging through the ashes of a dumpster fire.

Dez has significant upside at a veteran minimum salary. And we need a physical receiver in the red zone. We were missing that this year.

He has been working out and looks to be in really good shape. Of course he isn't prime Dez but I would be really excited to see what he could do. I feel like upgrading anywhere the team can should be considered. Plus Dez doesn't quit and I think would be a voice in the locker room. Low risk/ high reward. His salary would be low so if he didn't work out it wouldn't hurt the team but if he did workout it would give another playmaker to help the offense. Who knows, might even see if he can still return punts.
