The Dallas Cowboys have done nothing but talk about a future that includes Dak Prescott as part of the picture despite a current lack of a long-term deal for their star quarterback. Cowboys executi...

The Grid Iron challenged hard at work with their one line posts of stupidity first thing this morning , but its never to early for them to embarrass themselves . They are ready to embark on a whole new day of foolish statements LOLOL

The only thing better would be if all the Mods had to listen to this gibberish through a loud speaker 3inches from there ear as an alarm to start their day

I’m still not sold on Dak. He still holds the ball too long, has a slower release, and isn’t as accurate as he should be. The latter is puzzling because he’s thrown really accurate long balls before that dropped right into the hands of Amari. By Tony’s third year he told Parcells he was “seeing it”, meaning that even when the receiver didn’t look open to the layman, he was open as those windows are small and disappear quickly, and Tony had the accuracy to deliver the ball where it needed to be. I’m not sure Dak is quick enough to read those and accurate enough to deliver them. I think Dak’s rookie year was a double edged sword for the Cowboys.

I'm not against signing Dak, but man, I hope when the Joneses are speaking privately with Dak and his agent, they tell them things like, "You realize we only say those things in public to make you look good, right? You know there's no way in Hell we're making you the highest paid QB in league, don't you?"

Meanwhile, in the real world during Week 17 in December 2012 with the season and playoffs on the line, Romo's 7th year as our starter and 10th year as a Dallas Cowboy, he sure did show us such accuracy and delivered the ball where it needed to be......unlike 4th year veteran Dak! o_O:rolleyes::confused:

PS: There is much more if you'd like to see other videos of such an accurate and clutch old veteran that Romo was. Just holler...

The grid iron challenged are those that believe that Dak is going to carry the Cowboys to the SB. This season proved that less is more with Dak. Jerruh better invest in the defense if he thinks they can get there with Dak because he is nowhere close to Mahomes' level.

Seriously? With a blitzer running straight up the middle at him, Murray just stands there waiting for the ball as the defender runs under it...and that's on Romo? If that was Dak I don't think you'd be blaming him.

Seriously? Rewatch the video in slow motion. 1st & 10, yet Romo couldn't throw it into the ground at Murray's feet, even though he was looking at the LB cover Murray the whole time, or how about throw the ball way out of bounds to live another play while keeping the drive alive, or better yet, why not tuck the football and run to the right where there was at least 10 yards wide open to pick up an easy 1st down? I thought Romo was this genius defensive scheme reader that y'all talk about all of the time...and Mr. Clutch when it mattered most? Guess this video is fake, huh?

Darn YouTube makes Romo look bad. :muttley:

If the Joneses are saying that then they're even dumber than I thought. Here's an idea they'd never consider...stop speaking publicly about contract negotiations.

Watch it in slow motion? Is that how Romo got to watch it? Quite simply, he should have been able to count on Murray to make a play, even if that meant knocking the ball down. That Blitzer was on him way to fast to just "tuck the ball and run to the right". That happens sometimes.
Dissing Romo doesn't make Dak look any better, BTW. It just makes the person doing it look petty, and I didn't think that's who you are.

Please list the QBs on Mahomes level. If that's the standard the rest of the NFL might as well give up entirely - they don't grow on trees.
I understand what you are saying. My point is that Dak is going to need a top 5 defense to get to the SB. Just like Garappolo with the 49ers this season. The Cowboys don't have that kind of defense currently and it's not even close. The 49ers have used multiple 1st round picks to get where they are now. They took Buckner when we took Elliott.

Well stated, when all else fails come up with a Romo gaffe.

That man gave his all every time he was on the field, I don't know why people cannot appreciate that.
