True, and I hope I'm not one of them, because that means we overpaid. On the other hand, I really hope after a year, the Dakophants aren't the ones who are really upset, because that means he's so bad they don't want him...and that would be worst case scenario.

I think some have a problem with paying him wentz money because he wasn’t a top 1st round pick. But heck at this point he may be wanting more than that. No doubt he is wanting more than what he should be getting.

Easons much better than Fromm.

I know Fromm "beat him out" but thats because he was the first guy there.

He also beat out the kid who went to Ohio State who made Burrow transfer to LSU.

Their college careers don't matter.

Eason is an elite arm talent and ran a pro offense in college. I just don't like pure pocket passers and he's done nothing to show me he can buy time if need be.

Jake Fromm is the next Andy Dalton. He'll be ok. Eason has enormous upside. Fromm is low upside and low downside.

If we had a boatload of draft picks or no needs at other positions, I wouldn't mind another Aikman/Walsh-type competition at quarterback. As is, quarterback is not close to be the top concern on this team.

All players are over paid, its just the nature of the sport, in 2yrs it will be another team and QB who gets over paid.

Give Dak one more year to see if he can eliminate the inconsistency, like that second Eagles game. Build a defense first. Then, if Dak is not showing more consistency, then trade picks for a QB. And by the way, there is no guarantee that any of these college QBs are going to be better than Dak. A lot of top college QBs have failed in the NFL.

Only three dummies on the internet are chasing a QB. Everyone else understands.

I wouldn't assume DET would take Tua, they're the type team he would fit. Stafford plays through 20 and they can decide after that what direction to go.

If not, I don't see a D minded HC giving up that 3 spot and Okudah or flipping with NYG for Young.

The draft capital it would take to go from 17 to 3 would choke the growth of this team. And get what? Tua, a player that won't see the field.

they arent leveraging their future draft and this one to get Tua..hes injured and he and Herbert are not worth the risk, they arent cant miss prospects.. really what I saw of Lawerence and Burrows, they MIGHT turn out well but 1st round draft pics are not cant miss , many more have failed at the QB position then have not..

if we didnt have to trade up to get them , go after one but no way you can go from 17 to 4 without mortgage the future of the team and for what HOPE.. nah ill pass.. If Herbert got close like withn a few spots MAYBE you go up but im not convinced thats best..

Might be best trio go Fromm or Hurts in the 3rd/4th to start a process for the backup position that could elevate to a starting postion..

I would rather wait for Andrew Luck to run out of money and sign with us.

If we were cupboard bare, then maybe a move like this happens.

I strongly think tagging him for a year and seeing what happens with all the changes bring in 2020 reveal is the wise move.

Dak is not endlessly improvable.

People who believe that are not realists.

Players reach plateaus and that is as far as they get.

Daks progress has been incremental over the last 4 years.

We all keep looking for a quantum leap but it is slow coming.

For all we know, where he is could be as much as it gets.

Keeping the team moving forward and adding about 6-8 new players to what we have is the better route.

I would also sign a FA QB if one becomes available. We never did that with Romo and only by sheer luck had we drafted Dak when Romo went down.

Doubt this happens again, having a QB ready to step in if Dak regresses or gets injured. Competition is always wise.

Remember there are 52 other guys who are tied to trying to win..

not just Dak.
