If they gave that moron fat turd Rico a chance at tight end they can surely give Dez another chance. Yes he played poorly late in his career but let’s be honest Dak was throwing him some terrible passes.

And we can watch Dez having emotional break downs on the side line hollering for the ball. No thanks

Fans want to win.

They also grouse about signing Witten and Lee last year saying they were progress stoppers.

They were not. Both contributed with important plays.

I am not in love with Dez but I am in the team.

Let's try to be honest about our team needing a lot more help.

Witten is gone now..We will not replace that easily.

Our current TEs and receivers probably reached their max contributions in 2019.

Now you add more if you can to replace Wittens lost 700 TDs.

It's not even a thing you think twice about.

When I think about adding Dez to our current receivers..

OMG.

There are going to be some broken coverages in the other defenses in 2020.

Yep.

Dallas needs to bring in young players. I have said Jarwin under the system of Garrett was not a good fit because he is and always was more of a WR than a TE. I think Jarwin in this offense where his responsibility would change very well could have success. You are talking 2 completely different offensive systems. As for Dez again his play in my view does not change the pouting, emotional outburst and not guy I want to see on this team. That is my view I don't ask anyone to share it but it is how I feel about this.

Id love to have him back, as long as he could handle being the 3rd target.

No problem bro..

we just chatting here.

It does not matter if any of us are right or wrong. I do this to just widen my enjoyment.

That's all..easy peasy..that's me.

You keep your beliefs.

It's what keeps you who you are.

I have always liked Dez. I doubt he has much left.

That said, if he was on the roster, he would be the most passionate football player on the team - and that's sad to say !

Romo in his prime throwing to Dez vs a rookie Dak???? we really have to question why Dez's production went down?
Put Randy Moss in that sorry Raiders team.. didnht his production fall of the table? right before he went to NE and had one of the greatest season in NFL history?
Dez’s production went down in 2015, one year prior to Dak’s arrival. It was bad with all QBs that year, including the time spent playing with Romo.

Injuries and Dez’s mental state of mind had more to do with his drop off than Dak did.

He would have already signed with a team if he was worth signing. Can we please get over letting these has beens hang around? He misses the limelight and wants back in. Stay out of the way Jerry! There’s a new sheriff in town.

Ain't that the truth.

The offense is also going to miss Witten's passion to play.

Injury, yes...... but in 2015 Jerry Rice wouldnt have been good with our crap that was trotting out to play QB each week.

I agree, all 4 QBs that took a snap for the team in 2015 were hot garbage, but Dez was too dropping very easy passes and making mental mistakes.

Because he was a cancer in the locker room. It was on display many times how childish he acted during team meetings and how he got into coaches faces in a wrong way. I like his passion for the game and yes he holds a lot of records and played great for this team but do I want him back? No.

He was not a cancer JG and his Boys were the cancer like Witten
