Things that stood out to me.

"How was Jason Garrett?" "Uhmm, uhmm, uhmmm.... consistent"

Jerry informed him of what to expect for the changes on defense.

He got his plug in.

Dude is the biggest fraud on the team. His "comeback" story really blinds people that he is a bit of a shady guy. Shouldn't have taken poor play for people to see this, he's been dorky ever since he threw out that "cleareyes" hashtag.

LVE isn't far behind with his medical history being hush hush, though that might just be a big NFL flub.

This is a very interesting era in regard to folks being able to earn millions on social media by simply posting product endorsements to their followers. If Jerry and son were smart (and they aren't), they would leverage this personal branding aspect in contract negotiations. A players personal brand is worth way more in Dallas b/c they have more eyes on them.........more people watching them........more people listening when they talk...........all of this leads to more social media followers which creates huge endorsement opportunities for them..............opportunities created from the exposure they can only get as a Dallas Cowboy.

So, why can't Jerry say to a guy like Jaylon Smith " sign with us for less money and you will more than make up for it with the exposure you will get as a Dallas Cowboy. Your brand will be worth way more here than anywhere else". Then Jaylon and his agent can go do the math and see that he's got way more avenues of making money as a Dallas Cowboy than he would in just about any other NFL city. If Jaylon signs with Tampa, for example, nobody would pay any attention b/c there's no national media exposure and his brand would be near worthless.

Nothing insightful. Lots of glamour. Zero self deprecation. A few excuses. Zero accountability.

I can’t believe it. I loved the guy at ND. I loved his story of redemption and getting healthy.

He is now my least favorite player on the team. The guy is a fraud. Zero dog in him and he is a LB.

Jerry and Stephen aren’t smart? You think they aren’t aware of the above lol?

Good for Jaylon. It’s always good to see players think bigger than football. Seems like a genuinely good guy.

It’s crazy seeing him up there. 3 years ago I didn’t even think he’d suit up ever. He’s worked hard to get where he’s at.
What stood out to me was the introduction.

I had no idea he was 6th in the league in tackles

Coming from a defense that tackled so poorly all year..

that is a stud stat.

Add in his other history which we all know..

I could not be happier for us. He was a gamble but easily worth it. After wandering in the wilderness not having anybody but Sean Lee for years..

we now have a solid second line of defense with Lbers.

Yeah we will be ok especially with Nolan here. We get LVE back healthy and we’ll be back at it.
