I am sure there have been multiple rude and harsh responses to me on this board - maybe some from you, but I really have a short memory so it is rare that I even pay much attention to them or really remember them. People say stupid things on message boards - sometimes just to get a response!

Internet wars are really fake drama because most people would never say the things in person that they say in here.

It is an odd phenomenon
I'm the opposite, actually. I'm much less diplomatic in person.

Could be the bars call and warn each other about people. That's what happened to my friends and I when we got kicked out of Boston....Well, not literally "kicked", more like got a police escort and a "request" never to return.
We got kicked out of Toys R Us!!!!

I am very non-confrontational - especially in person. Most disputes I have on here I would just walk away from in person and not discuss with that person in the future.

On the phone, however, I can be very angry!

After some self-introspection, I’ve realized that I’ve often times been harsh and abrasive to fellow members on the forum for their opinions and part of it was accompanied with a feeling of arrogance.

I wanted to apologize to all those members I was rude and abrasive too, particularly those who defend Dak and even Jerry and guys like Garrett. It is, in the end, football and we all share our love if the team.

This includes everybody who thinks to himself that he may be referring to me and if that is the case, it definitely refers to you. Again, my apologies for my rude behavior and often times condescending approach towards debating and plan on changing

This includes guys like @Streetwise and @OmerV especially. If you have any personal gripes please don’t hesitate to message me personally so I can apologize individually.
Brother..

Forget about it.

It's all in the heat of debate.

Now do not do this with the GF or wife. You will be sleeping on the couch.

Later.

I am the same online and in person. I’ll let anyone make the rules and I’ll just make sure we both play with the same set.

Want to be cool, argumentative, sarcastic, joke around, troll, combative, etc? I am fine with them all. I’ll just treat you the same way you treat me.

I knew that was true of your online persona, it's good that you're the same in "real life". I'm pretty much that way in person as well, I think, just if I feel someone's intentionally disrespecting me, I get much more aggressive than I do here.

In person, I would basically walk away from a lot of people if they spoke to me that rudely. I used to not, and it always ended up badly.

More than once, I have walked away from a thread on here and didn't go back. It's not easy, but after the first few times I forced myself to do it, it got easier.
