When looking at the Dallas Cowboys’ depth chart, make sure to not overlook Offensive Tackle Isaac Alarcón. The promising 22-year old from Mexico spent all of last season in the team’s practice squad and even though we haven’t seen him play, there are reasons to believe he’ll be a member of the 53-man roster in 2021.

I was just thinking the same thing.

They may have wanted to keep developing him on the PS. Once he is on the 53-man roster and on tape in games, the cat is out of the bag and everyone will know about him. They may not yet believe he is capable of staying on the 53-man roster. If they ever had to move him back down to the PS again, there would be a greater chance he gets snatched up by another team.

I think that he wasn't eligible to play last year.
