Do you honestly think the players association will give moneys back and go lower than the 60% they already have?

No, and the owners may stick with the deal. The league is making more money than ever, to the point where they can comfortably increase the cap at a rapid rate. It's not like these teams like the Broncos are struggling to get by. They know that and the small market owners will likely force the rest of the league to keep the cap.

And Tags didn't strong arm anybody. He pleaded with the owners to work together and they did.

No Cap will be the worst thing that can happen in the league. I want to win a title fair and square. I dont want any of this Yankee/Red Sox bull**** where teams in the AL like the Blue Jays, Mariners, Indians, Orioles, Royals, Angels etc, can compete with a 150+ million dollar payroll.
This baseball thing is overblown, with small market teams such as Minnesota, Cleveland,Oakland,Colorado, Milwaukee, San Diego et al have been pretty competitive.

Since 2002, no team has gone back to back world series. Anaheim, Florida, Boston, Chicago, St. Louis and Boston have won the World Series. The runner ups have been the Giants, Yankees, Cardinals, Astros, Tigers and Rockies.

Seems like quite a bit of variety there.

In the same time frame the NFL has had Tampa Bay, New England, New England,Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, New England/NewYork win the Super Bowl. The losers were Oakland, Carolina, Philadelphia, Seattle,Chicago, New England/New York

See much difference? I don't

If the NFL instituted say, a luxury tax in lieu of a cap I doubt it would make the league less competitive . It also would enable teams to keep their players longer, hopefully giving the League more "great" teams .
