4th # 98 Kyler Fackrell LB - potential to take over the Mike or Sam

RB Lamar Miller - nice complement for DMF and Dallas has been linked with him before
WR Travis Benjamin - true vertical threat and PR / KR

Cowboys fans need to pay attention to the Cowboys recent drafting habits and realize there are some things the cowboys do and don't do when it comes to some players.

We have learned through the last few drafts that Kiffen and now Rod do not put stock into high picks for a 1 tech person.

So if they feel he is the best option at DE...sure...but as a 1 tech there is no way in hell they would draft him in the first round let alone the top 5 of the first round.

You're right and they have proven that they don't value the 1 tech.
I think Buckner is an exception because of position flex and ability to hold up double teams and still be a pass rush/pass blocking threat. Strong side DE is a position that Buckner can play at an all-pro level (IMO). With the heavy rotation, I'm sure Buckner would play many DL positions. Given what they have, I see LDE - DLaw. DT- Buckner DT Crawford RDE Gregory. That's one hell of a young D line.

No thank you to Buckner. I really like Jackson III. Very small chance Cravens falls out of the 1st let alone the 2nd round.Haven't paid much attention to the linebackers yet this draft so i don't really know anything about Fackrell

Sometimes I wonder if Marinelli should put more of an emphasis on getting better players at the 1-tech. But he knows better than I.

Buckner is not actually a 1-Tech. He's a big defensive lineman who can play 3 positions in a 4-3 front. He's a more athletic Calais Campbell to me. He's best suited for a 5-Tech in a 3-4 but I think he will be fine as an anchor (LDE) in a 4-man front who can slide inside on passing downs. 4 seems high for him but then again, this year's draft doesn't have a lot of elite talent.

Love the Fackrell pick, I think he's going to be a good pro. Like others have said, don't see Su'a slipping to the 3rd.

yea intuitively it just seems as if our 1's are too lite in the pants
and I think 90% of the fans feel like that. You at least need
these small DT to be stronger,quicker more athletic if their not going to be 320 ponders

3rd Su a Cravens SS - (drafttek has him available but I agree he is undervalued)
As a substitute, 3rd #67 Spencer Drango OT Baylor - Free is getting up there. This is an ideal swing tackle that could start at RT and perform at a high level.
RB - Kenyan Drake is another possible pick there.

QB - There is no way Jerry will side step the free press and fun JF or RGIII will bring as a back up QB. If the Browns make it difficult, then RGIII will be here.

Sir all due respect I'm going to disagree with Cowboy thinking ( not a rant) for years we wouldn't draft O line men in the first round and after a change in thought ( this year with standing) we have a young hell of a line. We need to be like George of Seinfeld and do the opposite if we've done things a certain way then the opposite would be correct
