JF or RG3 will be the back up QB with all the free press and risk-reward involved

They would take Ramsey for CB at #4 before Buckner. At least I hope the would.
Goff to the Browns, agree.
I can see where Titans would want to take Tunsil to help protect Mariotta.

I agree if the Browns are QB thirsty Goff will be gone, IMO this will be a tough draft if Valley Ranch does not feel it contains a realistic future starting QB for the Cowboys.
Bosa, M Alexander, VH III, V Ramsey, Myles Jack, all should be considered at four along with a trade back. They are for the most part playing a value position and all would start immediately. IMO better players exist in this draft but we are stacked with Olineman. We are going to be doing some voodoo contracts to keep this Oline together and adding another all pro just adds another level of difficulty trying to keep them in house.

The CB from Houston W Jackson III is a great sized player with real talent, rumour says he might run a 4.5-4.6 which might make him a liability. Eli Apple from Ohio State seems to be making a run up the CB ladder he is 6'1" and speed is not an issue just to throw out an alternative and another great choice would be Kyle Fuller from Va Tech big and fast.

Buckner is no kind of 1 Tech. He would be a complete liability at that spot. Good player, great talent and motor but he doesnt have the build or style of play to line up there. If your drafting him, he is your 3 down LDE who could kick into the 3 Tech spot on passing downs. Buckner could operate with doubles on the edge. NFL OG/OC combinations would blow him off the ball as a 1 Tech

Don't we already have a poor mans version of Buckner in David Irving? I would like to see if Irving, coming off his rookie season, could build some position flex and be able to give some snaps at DE also, he seems quick tich enough, does he have the flat out speed to turn a corner--don't know. But as we dropped Hardy down into the interior, I can see Irving giving us some snaps (buckner'esque) outside at DE also.

More and More its pointing to a trade back unless a remaining QB is deemed valuable enough at the 4 spot.--have my doubts, and I'm a big NDSU/Wentz homer

I have been looking at Eli Apple lately too.
I am an Ohio State fan, and seen every game. I like his style. Plays the ball well, hits, and tackles. Sometimes he messes up, but that is expected. But would be a solid pick.
There are a lot of
Buckeyes coming out in this draft, and I like many of them. For projecting their NFL status, I have no idea. But would not complain on any they take.

I think Eli Apple needs to be on our radar for that second pick for sure along with Kyle Fuller. IMO
Could be six OSU picks in the first rd if Perry can sneak out of the second. Vonn Bell would also be a nice addition for us, what is your take on him?

I like Vonn Bell, tough player, hits hard. Seemed to be around the ball a lot.
Tylus Powell is another player that made plays.
Bell, Powell, Apple, anyone could help right away.

What is your take on the WR from Ohio State? Michael Thomas

Seemed he wasn't as big of a factor as what he should have been. Or what I think they hoped he would be. Or what I think they hoped he would be. I could have just misread what I think they expected of him. If that makes sense. He would make some big plays, then would disappear at times, or have a drop.
But I like him overall, but lacks the speed that Miller brings.

What about Miller worth a look?

I made a thread about Miller, if we should take him at #4.
But seems he may move up the charts.

Still learning WR, but many WR coming into the NFL takes 2 to 3 years anyway.
He can replace Dunbar in his role with screen passes, short passing game, even some RB plays, reverses, as use miller and Whitehead. So who will run the seep pr reverse.
And then miller can even be a threat to throw the ball.
With his speed, around 4.4, he can stretch the field. And why not even try him in the return game too.
He is too goo of an athlete too pass on. But depending who else is there too.

He really is a great talent that can line up in lots of different roles. Not even thinking about him in rd 1 with pick 4. I think he is much quicker than Dunbar, quickness more like Beasley and speed to burn. He is a nice project.

This is why I think he is ranked a 4th round pick for now. Moving to WR, inexperienced. That alone would move him down. But he is that high because he is such a great athlete.
Some think he may move up into the 3rd or even 2nd round. I see late 3rd unless some team reaches a bit.
I still think he would be a good 4th round pick, maybe with our comp pick.
But as a 3rd round, no, we can can a defensive player that can contribute immediately there.
