1-4 against good teams

Seattle is a slightly above average team.

You think the Rams are a good team?

I think the OP meant "1-4 against the upper echelon teams, the group of 7 or 8 teams from which you expect the AFC and NFC championship games to come from.

We've played 5 games of that caliber of teams....and lost 4.

Nobody does, has, or ever thought the Seahawks or Rams would be contenders at any point of the season or offseason this year.
The Cowboys will probably get another chance against the best team in the playoffs. So who really cares.

50/50 chance they win at Tampa and then yet another rematch with the 49ers at Levi.

We all know how this is going to end.
Don’t want to get ahead of myself but the Rams and Seattle are better than Tampa although if you get the second seed, you play them at home. I am interested in the Tampa-Saints game because the Saints are on a hot streak.

So we beat the eagles once at home. Everyone give the cowboys a trophy. Congratulations!

It is what it is. The Cowboys are not real contenders.
You know, the schedule has something to do with that. Dallas had to play Buffalo, Miami, and San Fransisco away. The Eagles get to play all 3 at home. That makes a difference. It's just how things worked out this year. Dallas just doesn't score a lot of points away.

The rams and Seahawks are good to me.
The rams are only mediocre away from their stadium and average in their stadium. The Seahawks are a decent team in their stadium and suck on the road. Just like we are a good team at home, and a bad team on the road. That's what the numbers say

They played at the Rams, at the Seahawks, at Kansas City, and at Us. Looking at it we should have beaten Miami, and Arizona no matter where we played. Miami lodged their first win over a winning team when they beat us. Come to think of it we should have beaten Philadelphia in Philadelphia where they were penalized practically all the way to the 11 yard line and on first and 10 we couldn't score a touchdown. That was a defining game that said something about us.

What does worry me is the game with Detroit. Surprising I know, but Detroit is actually a good team on the road unlike us. I would pick them to win if we played in Detroit but I don't know here. We've been unbeatable at home, but we almost lost to Seattle in Detroit is better than Seattle especially on the road. That game is a tossup.

Dude, I agree with you. But the schedule is what it is. I don't think we go 0-3 against 49ers, Bills, Dolphins if they were home games. Dallas plays way better at home. We can barely score away when not playing a trash team. But we had similar troubles back in 1992. We lost to the Eagles on Monday night 31-7 or something like that. It happens. But I will admit there is more to our troubles than just that. Did you watch that trash D we played before the end of the first half? What were they doing?

The loss to Arizona will cost Dallas a home field playoff game and a bye week . And Murray wasn’t even around to create problems .

I agree we played awful. I don't understand it. It's certainly an enigma and just a part of being a fan of this team. It seems like we always get set up for disappointment after a highly successful earlier years.

Though the record doesn't look great

1-Blowout win
2-Blowout losses
2-Close tossups

And a partridge in a pear tree.....

Merry Christmas all, enjoy your families, enjoy 3 straight playoff seasons, and just be thankful for what you have.

And remember regardless what happens in the regular season, just punch a ticket to the playoffs and anything can happen.

Agree. Shouldnt leave themout

To be fair though, the Rams team now would beat the team we played by 2 TDs

But yes, they are now good
Let’s not go crazy. The Rams defense is still below average.

Agree. They still have flaws but are much healthier now.

I would say before and after the bye week
Rams D went from C- to B-
Rams O went from C- to A

Aside from an improved but so-so defense......
Their big flaw is that they have awful special teams all around. Terrible kicker and poor coverage and protection
