Eagles got SF and Dallas coming off 10 days rest.
And they got smacked, just like we did with San Fran and Buffalo. And at least we didn't lose that way to 49ers at home (but we probably would have).

The great news is that the Lions clinched their division so maybe they will be easy on us....
We will put a crackin’ on the Lions (who cant play on the road), and then we will be Super Bowl ready……no worries…

And it's tough to beat other contending teams on the road. Everything has to go right and it clearly hasn't. I'm just glad that this one was better than that showings in Buffalo and San Francisco.
That’s how bad it’s gotten for some fans. They’re some satisfied that we were at least competitive in this game. We have a veteran team that will be making its third straight playoff appearance and some see yesterdays game as a moral victory that we were competitive and didn’t get blown out.

The Dallas Cowboys are undefeated in the games they won, a perfect 10-0.

In their five losses, the combined margin of defeat was 70.......exactly equal to Zack Martin's jersey number.....coinsidence or conspiracy revealed?.....Expiring minds want to know!

Didn't say there's a reason to be satisfied with it, just that wining on the road against other contending teams is a tough task so it shouldn't just be expected. Being in close games at least shows you are competitive in those situations despite the circumstances being against you. We've got to do it, though, if we're going to make the Super Bowl and have no expectations of that. I'd certainly feel a little better about it if we'd been competitive in those San Fran and Buffalo games, but still I won't believe it until I see it.

I'll gladly take a victory like we had over Seattle, as long as it is a victory. As far as Super Bowl ready, unless the path goes through our stadium, I'll believe it when I see it (and even then since we haven't been to a championship game in forever).

Eagles didn't "easily" beat the Rams. The game was within reach for the Rams going into the 4th quarter. Since the score was 17-14 in favor of the Eagles. And they Eagles just got 2 FGs in the fourth to make the score 23-14. Wouldn't consider that an "easy" win.
Well you eagles fans would know better than me

I wasn’t talking about you, just those fans who are always looking for something positive. There really isn’t anything positive. Most fans know that the Cowboys playing on the road in the playoffs is a death sentence.

Yeah, I don't know how anyone can have the expectation that we can win on the road in the playoffs. If we're the fifth seed, we should be able to get past the NFC South winner (no guarantees, though), but it doesn't look good after that because we are simply not nearly as good on the road as we are at home and certainly not better than other contenders.

If enough of us say it , it will have to happen. Does it work that way?

Go back the last 4 years and look at the Cowboys record against playoff teams.

It's not just some media-created narrative. It's a real thing.

It is what it is. The Cowboys are not real contenders.
Technically they're supposed to be going by what your record is now and whoever you played what your record is then technically we've already beat the Rams that would be two because the Rams and Eagles but when we played the Seattle Seahawks they were one game above 500... I don't know what their record is now but it might be we have three wins against teams with winning records so I don't know what you're trying to tell us that we're not contenders we are contenders I'm saying you're 100% flat out wrong nothing happened yesterday or in Buffalo it's gonna affect the playoffs we'll talk after the playoff games if we see more of this in the playoffs and we're out and we're one and done then we could talk right now what you're saying is wrong everyone keeps saying this everyone's got this whole narrative wrong is it the record when you play the team or is it their current record but either way I believe we played really well and just lost the game over the fumble at the goal line that's just a mental mistake and that doesn't mean it's gonna happen again... And you say one in four and I'm telling you that other Eagles game you are it'll act like we didn't play well in that game either we've had a couple really bad games this year one being the 49ers and the other one in Buffalo just terrible but I'm tired of hearing about how you think it's one in four I'm telling you when you watch them how they play I don't feel that we're that far off we're not pretenders,,,

again if it happens in the playoffs you could say that but right now we're in the playoffs you're entitled to your opinion but I'm telling you you're wrong I don't see that I see that we can compete in a play here or there or a call that we should get you know when someone's being Depantsed ie Lmab havig his pants pulled down and no call!! or two dudes or holding your best pass rusher and you don't get those calls in a close game they matter but we played well enough to win last night the fumble lost us the game but if you go back and look at those two non calls there's a reason that they didn't get the two a lot because they were holding and not being called for it.. That doesn't make us pretenders that makes us having some bad luck in some of these games but let's wait till the playoffs to pass that judgment...

They beat the Seahawks and Rams too. Two teams contending for the playoffs.
You got that right people are cherry picking who they think are contenders and playoff caliber teams and they're looking at their records either now or when we played them they have no real data to support it I mean last year weren't we like seven and one against teams with winning records and like I don't know I'm off the top of my head like four and one against playoff teams or better it didn't help us in the playoffs that's the thing none of this matters until we get to the playoffs we can have all these discussions about who's a pretender and who's a contender in the playoffs
