imo Manziel was vetoed by others not because of his talent but because they knew he was a knucklehead.I think Jerry will find it hard again to convince everybody after all the stuff Manziel has been through in the NFL,

They should hit Jerry over the head with his bottle of JWB, and sit him in the corner for the entire draft.
Pin a "No Johnny for Johnny" sign on him.

Jerry needs to change history, and not fill pot holes with gravel....and look to the future by fully paving the road with a QB that takes that road to the SB....

Won't argue, but he is letting road go to pot with Garret's scheme that inhibits 3 backup qb's from winning more than a single game

if they don't take a qb at 4 or do a small trade down, they're basically passing on a qb this year and hoping again that romo lasts a full season.

i'm a huge romo fan, but that's insane.

I really think Manziel is on our roster next year.

as jerry's drinking buddy? hey, they're both adults.

but as a quarterback who might actually enter the game and hold the ball in his hands?

I like it. Especially the Lawrence-Stample and Redmon picks. Dixon looks electric with the ball in space but he also looks slight of stature. I wonder if his body would hold up to having to run between the tackles 25+ times per game.

He's listed at 6' 215...even if he's 5'11 210 I wouldn't exactly call that small. That and I don't think anybody is running the ball 25+ a game regardless. Realistically he needs to be able to carry the ball 15-20 times a game

I doubt he comes in at 5'11 from the way he looks on the field. If his role at the next level is going to be as a member of a committee then I'd take issue with the value of the pick. At 34, before the trade back, there's likely going to be a player that doesn't need to come off the field.

My point was that no one carries the ball 25+ times anymore. Peterson lead the league this year and averaged 20.5 carries a game. Even Demarco's ridiculous workload for us last year was only 24.5 carries per game. Most guys in the league are only going to average 16-18 over a full season. I don't think Dixon would have problem with that.

Will be shocked if we go QB at #4, I really will. Regardless of who's available.

I just cant see the plan being Romo, Johnny Football/RG3, and Kellan Moore................there is no way that can be the plan...............none.

We have to come out of this draft with a QB, and not a 5th round scurb developmental QB, I am talking a legit future starter QB.

We used 3 different backup QBs and lost 11/12 games.............would have been 12/12 if not for Desean Jackson.
