Round 1- Jared Goff QB, Cal- Browns do what the Browns do and take Lunch over Goff. Tunsil and Bosa are off the board and we happily take our QB of the future

Round 2- *Trade Back* -Hackengerg is still on the board so Bill O'Brien trades Houstons 2nd, 3rd, and 6th to move up and get his guy.
Kenneth Dixon RB, La Tech- complete back with incredible quickness and agility for a guy with a stocky frame. If he went to a bigger school I think he'd be a borderline 1st round pick

Round 3- Deion Jones LB LSU- Got lost in the shuffle of great LSU LB's but finally got a chance to start his sr year and responded with 100 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 ints, and 13.5 TFL. Athletic and highly active flying all over the field. Special teams guy as well

Round 3- Will Redmond CB, Miss St- A guy that could have been a 1st rounder if he played a good full season of football, but he tore his acl in October. Picking up an extra pick in the trade back makes it worth the wait on Redmond.

Round 4- Nile Lawrence-Stample DT, FSU- Enough is enough with Hayden....Nile isn't a sexy pick that will pile up stats, but he was an integral part of FSU's dominant front. Strong at the point of attack with a low center of gravity making him difficult to move. Quick enough to make plays in the backfield, more than just a stump.

Round 4 comp- Cayleb Jones WR, Arizona- Former longhorn who got in trouble and chose to transfer back in '13. Seems to have kept his nose clean since then and brings a nice skillset with size and speed. His dad is a former Cowboys linebacker so the connection is there.

I like it a lot. Dixon has a lot of yardage on him, so that worries me a bit, and I'd go with Braylon Addison over Cayleb Jones, but this is a pretty realistic mock and I'd be happy with it.

I don't worry about mileage on a rb just because in this day and age you should happy if you get 4 full good years out of a rb. 2nd contracts should generally be avoided unless you have 1 of the few great 1's.

I'll have to check out Addison. I was struggling with the 4th round wr spot. Rankings are all over the place on a wide range of guys at WR

Addison is a burner. He can really stretch the field.

why do you say that? both Jerry and Stphen are open to it,it just a matter of the scouts now.

Yeah, kind of agree with this. The Jones boys could see this as a very rare opportunity to land themselves a top QB as I imagine that they believe they are a playoff team and won't have this opportunity again anytime soon. Now of course it all depends on how they have these qb's ranked. After this year I do believe that they now understand that having a credible backup QB makes a world of difference.

Because I honestly believe Jerry will take a chance on Manziel if made available. And I think he's going to want a Day 1 starter with a top 5 pick. My 2 cents.

Yup, jerry's history is to try and take care of roster holes so their draft can go with the flow and take bpa.

Could live with draft if you replace 4th rounders with WR/ATH Braxton Miller and DB/OLB Miles Killebrew, both elite playmakers. Take small school NT OJ Mau, RB/WR Byron Marshall and DT Iosia Iosia with 3 of the four 6 rounders. Would even take a flier on Kevirae Russell over Redmond too, both fall due to injury.

imo Manziel was vetoed by others not because of his talent but because they knew he was a knucklehead.I think Jerry will find it hard again to convince everybody after all the stuff Manziel has been through in the NFL,

Traded our 2nd rounder to the Texans for their 2nd, 3rd, and 6th.

Got it. Hey TM what about a 2nd 3rd and a 5th instead of the 6th. After looking at the Texans QB play yesterday against the Chiefs we may be able to hold the Texans hostage

Will be shocked if we go QB at #4, I really will. Regardless of who's available.

if they don't take a qb at 4 or do a small trade down, they're basically passing on a qb this year and hoping again that romo lasts a full season.

i'm a huge romo fan, but that's insane.

Was Alex Collins on the board when you selected Dixon?
If so you took the wrong RB.

Jerry needs to change history, and not fill pot holes with gravel....and look to the future by fully paving the road with a QB that takes that road to the SB....
