There was a time this proud franchise and its fan base would spend time discussing and debating repeating and three-peating in Super Bowls.

Such a long time ago. Now we discuss if this team does this and that team does that and the moon does this then we may have a chance

My comment was "I suspect every team has missed key players for a few games this year."
Do you still say that comment is not correct?
It's a yes or no answer.

And you didn't answer me why you think my comment was wrong "as ususal"
Where does that mean-spirited stuff come from, amber?

And I'm about as far from a hater as you're going to find here.
I give these guys my full support.
I think the issue was the combination of the talent that was out, the competition they were facing, and the domino effect of losing multiple All Pros within the first quarter of the Falcons game. I don't believe any other team successfully navigated similar circumstances, but I could be wrong.

We're here hoping the Bucs can help us out for goodness sake. Can't get any lower than that. Oh yea a few weeks ago we were rooting for the winless Browns. lol

A rough stretch for any team, no doubt

Our coaching staff, full of stooges, had completely incompetent backups in place behind both Lee and Smith. Our coaching staff also could not scheme themselves out of a paper bag.

The Eagles, on the other hand, clearly have a vastly superior offensive scheme - look no further than plugging and playing Nick Foles without missing a beat. Meanwhile, in 2015, without Romo we went 1-11. Without Lee over the last 2 years we've gone 1-6. We are completely unable to win and we're lucky if we can even compete without top end talent across the board. It is truly embarrassing.
I wouldn't say without missing a beat. They barely beat the Giants. And Dallas won their last 3 with out Zeke. 2 of which were close after 3 quarters and then turned into blowouts.

Their offense didn't miss a beat. Defense allowed just under 30 to an atrocious Giants offense. I'm talking strictly offensively.

NFC South is the best division this year. It's the only division with 3 teams with winning record.

TB is a pushover but SF isn't? LOL.
NFC South is much tougher division than the NFC West.

I clearly said SF was terrible.

You might get that reading comprehension checked.

You might get that reading comprehension checked.

You also implied Detroit had it easier because they drew NFCS instead of NFCW.
It might help if you watch other teams play before posting dumb comments.

I think the eagles have 3 wins against winning record teams. Seahawks, rams, panthers.

There’s a whole lotta low end to muddled middle teams in today’s NFL

The Eagles LOST to Seattle 24 - 10. I watched that game to see what their defense was doing.

Then, after the Eagles flame out in divisional round, you’ll disappear.
Eagles winning the Superbowl equates to their team making the playoffs when the Cowboys don't, in their fans minds.

That's why they're here in a Cowboys forum, cheering like high school cheerleaders, for that to happen.
:lmao:

This year, the Cowboys have just 1 win against teams with a winning record: Kansas City.

They've been able to squeak by some bad teams like Oakland and AZ, they have beaten up on some bad teams like Washington, and they have pooped the bed and gotten blown out by teams like Denver, Atlanta, Philly, and the Chargers.

They looked competitive in some of the losses, and obviously, they are a different team with Zeke. If they do get to the playoffs, do you really see them winning a game? I don't.

Sure the Cowboys can win a playoff game. Can they get to the Superbowl? Probably not. I can tell you one thing is that the Eagles want no part of the Cowboys right now. I don't see Philly winning a playoff game.

One win against winning teams sounds bad, but I go back to the first two games in October when Dallas had huge leads against the Rams and Packers but lost. Sean Lee wasn't playing and the defense collapsed.

Change a play or two in those games, and Dallas is not only 10-4, but they have more of those "quality" wins everybody wants to see.

That's fantasy, though. You don't win Super Bowls with moral victories.

Yup, like I've been saying since pre-season, we aren't as good as we think we are.
