You know winning team's, losing teams, it doesn't matter what matters is how we lost games.
Our coaching staff , due to purely a lack of adjustments cost us the playoffs this year, it's not even debatable
So what happens when we get in the playoffs? well probably the same thing as last year we get out-coached.
Until we have a change and at least the coordinator position I'll continue to cheer but not expect a good outcome.

Man, you couldn’t be more spot on. The way you lose games is way more telling than the wins in today’s NFL. The coaching is my biggest concern with this team.

Don’t try and lie your way out of this. Here’s your quote for the record:

Anyway...back to the topic...
You don't think just about every team has missed a key player or two (excluding franchise QBs) for a few games this year?
I suggest you find me a few teams that haven't before you make that mean-spirited and condescending comment.
I suspect you'll find that I'm right afterall
That was my second quote...
I quoted my EXACT first quote because that's when you jumped in and said I was always wrong.

So now you're calling me a liar?
Really?

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong the second quote either.
A key player or two is what I said about other teams. Do you also say that's not true?
I never said that all DALLAS lost was 1-2 players. Not once.
But go down the NFL list and you'd be shocked how many stud players were lost for a few games (or even all season) my almost all the team out there.

Come on man. Who you trying to kid. You also conviently left out anything about the Cowboys 1st place schedule. That is also relevant.
13-3 last year and 8-6 this year with all the suspensions and injuries to key players while playing a 1st place schedule. Hate on bro.

This year, the Cowboys have just 1 win against teams with a winning record: Kansas City.

They've been able to squeak by some bad teams like Oakland and AZ, they have beaten up on some bad teams like Washington, and they have pooped the bed and gotten blown out by teams like Denver, Atlanta, Philly, and the Chargers.

They looked competitive in some of the losses, and obviously, they are a different team with Zeke. If they do get to the playoffs, do you really see them winning a game? I don't.

Its sad when all we can hope for is "winning A game".

With Wentz out and now Rogers and the Packers out, I dont see any team in the NFC that is unbeatable for our team. Now it would HAVE to depend on who was playing. If guys like Smith and Lee were out then I would say probably not. But if the Cowboys actually win out and get on a roll with Zeke I could see the possibility.

But winning two games and getting to the championship game? I highly doubt that one. Winning it all , no way.

We were extremely competitive without Sean Lee (our most important player) against the Rams (top 3 seed) and the Packers (4-1 at the time Rodgers went down) and arguably should have won at least 1, if not both of those games.

I think we would more than hold our own and be reenergized if we were to make it into a playoff game.

If we played the Rams I dont see us beating them.

This was the more or less the case last year, too.

True - difference being last year we only lost twice (discounting the backups vs the Eagles) and both were by a couple of points. We drubbed many a team and beat just about everyone in front of us. You can only play who you're scheduled to play of course. Beating them all, even if the schedule is cupcake (the Eagles this year are no different at all), is a good thing.

This year, we've been drubbed by good and bad teams alike.

Just to put names to it, do you think Dallas can win @NO or @LAR?

I like their chances in LA more than NO.

Rams are a total powerhouse buddy. An even better team then the one that beat us early in the season.

What exactly am I "hating"

So in one thread, for no legit reason, you have told me:

1) that I'm always wrong
2) that I lie
3) that I'm a hater

Nice guy
Also, if you’re going to come here and hate all the time then you open yourself up to being called on it. You reap what you sow.

I would agree. McVay would run circles around our goofy defensive scheme. However, having Lee instead of Week 4 Jaylon would make a HUGE difference and I'd be shocked if we weren't at least competitive with them.

At full strength, I believe this team is competitive with any in the NFC. As always though, against good teams, it becomes very difficult to overcome the gulf in coaching abilities'.

No Sean Lee for several of the losses. No Ezekiel Elliott for some of the losses. No Tyron Smith (and worse, with Chaz Green) for some of the losses. Younger players on defense are playing more and have more NFL game experience now.

I am not saying the Cowboys have the best team in the NFC by any means, and even if they get into the playoffs, it's still going to be tough for them to beat good teams, but there's a big difference between the teams that were on the field for some of those losses and the one that is on the field now.

I agree with that to an extent. But there is also no guarantee that if we do make the playoffs that Lee, Hitchens, Smith, ect..... will even be available.

Yah, with McVay, in the playoffs and with a good coach dissecting our weaknesses I see Garrett getting handed his butt.

And we did a relatively good job on Gurley in that game. I dont see that happening again. And their QB is more familiar with his receivers and some new weapons like Watkins.

You never answered what I was hating.
Just seems weird to be called a hater (when I'm, if anything, accused sometimes of being a homer) and not even say what exactly I'm supposed to be hating.
How old are you anyway? Honest question.

I wouldn't say we did well against Gurley at all - he gained 220 yards from scrimmage on 30 touches with a TD. They pounced on Jaylon every chance they got once it became evident he was way in over his head as an every down backer. It really ended up making the difference in the second half. It was a truly abysmal performance for this defense.

It wasn't enough to bully the coaching staff off Jaylon - it took one more can whooping on the ground and on RB receiving routes vs Green Bay until they figured it might be best to go in a different direction.

Maybe so but that does not change my opinion. Playing in New Orleans is no joke. The Saints right now or rolling extremely tough play at home. Dallas has a good history playing the Rams and playing at their house. Match-up Matchup wise, I think Dallas has a better chance of beating the Rams than the Saints.
