10 best defenses in the NFL going into week 2

Could have easily put up a 40 burger if needed. Not sure what form of occult magic they used to determine these rankings after week 1. Browns and Jets shouldn't be top 10.

I hear what you saying but the cowboys didnt put up a 40 burger. Cleveland kept our offense with only 2 tds. Our special teams contributed the remaining 17 points.

Good list. Slide Jets defense out of here.. Awful last night. Probably their main problem. Couldn't get Purdy off the field. Otherwise Browns Cowboys Niners Ravens Chiefs Steelers Patriots....something like that

Not really on the defense. The D gave up 14-17.
There was a special teams score, a turnover in scoring range, and multiple turnovers on downs in Cle territory because their offense just wasn't doing anything.

Our offense really only had two drives of note.

The Jets defense stinks. They were fools gold last year.

When your strength on defense is the secondary, and not the defensive line, you do not have a good defense.

I guess the defense held dallas to 19 points if you remove the pick 6 and kick return...even so dallas defense was better

I want to see our defense play like a top 5 defense in the playoffs. We’ll see how long into the season it takes before the defense starts to show cracks. We looked terrific on defense the first two games of last season and then came the AZ game.
