do we draft 10 rookies?
do we trade down, and add 1 or 2 more picks?
do we trade up and have less picks?

I really Want Ginn in this draft, he is a gamebreaker. If he falls to 10-13 we should trade our 22 and 2 or 3 later round picks to move up.

I know Gin is a game breaking return man, I wonder what he's like as a pure receiver if anyone wants to share.... I guess I could look it up, but I'd like visual evidence from those who have actually watched him.

I wouldn't be against signing Ginn if he fell to #22 but I would not trade up to get him. Certainly not our #22 and 2 or 3 more picks.

He has improved every year, and is known as a VERY hard worker, who takes him game seriously.

Still has weaknesses, but most prospects do

yea we have 10 picks but 5 are in the last 2 rounds.. its not like we have 4 2nd rounders.. most of the time 6th and 7th rounders dont make the team, even though weve gotten very lucky as of late :)

Well I'll say this. Guys like Gin with game breaking ability should always be some sort of priority on the list.

I know this, Gin is as good as Reggie Bush as a receiver. I can envision a guy like that with TO/Glenn and Witten on the field with Gin in the slot. Wide Receiver screens, reverses etc.. Something to consider that's for sure.

We are going to be drafting for depth on the second day- or looking for projects. First day- really for the first time since the 90s we can truly go BPA.

Ginn would be great. He solves a few problems that I see. Adds a gamebreaker to the offense. A great return man and should be able to step in for Owens and Glenn in a year or two and be a good #1 WR to grow with Romo.

0 fumbles in his 3 years at OSU.
26 total TD's in his 3 years at OSU.

He also seemed to make plays in the biggest games of his career.

for ex:

memorable punt returns vs Michigan.

Rushing TD his freshman year in Bowl Game
Receiving TD vs ND in bowl game his junior year.
Kickoff Return in NC game this year. Got hurt when teammate twisted his ankle celebrating.

Dallas won't keep all ten picks. There isn't room on the roster for ten more players. I'd be willing to bet that some of the 6s and 7s are package to move up in the middle rounds to target a specific player or two.

Here is a Ted Ginn highlight reel for ya...I know you wanted pure receiver stuff...but it has a little bit of everything for ya....Im not necessarily selling you on him, just giving you what you asked for....I wouldnt mind taking him but it depends who else is available...

Maybe it was much more of good draft day management & preparation than luck ;)

If we're going to draft a receiver in the first round, I'd prefer Robert Meachem.

Everyone should take this as a ringing endorsement.

Sure there is

QB: Romo, Johnson
RB: JJ, Barber
FB: Hoyte
WR: TO, Glenn, Crayton, Hurd, Austin
TE: Witten, Fasano
OL: Adams, Kosier, Gurode, Davis, Colombo, McQuistan, Procter
K: Gramatica
LS: Ladouceur

DE: Spears, Canty, Ratliff, Hatcher, Bowen
DT: Ferguson
LB: Ware, Ellis, Ayodele, James, Carpenter, Burnett
CB: Henry, Newman, Glenn
S: Roy, Watkins, Elam
P: McBriar

I listed the players I feel are definitely gonna be on the roster in 2007...40 players....that leaves 13 spots.....

I like Meachem. Bowe will be gone, so he'll be a nice 2nd prize. Gonzalez? Seriously, dude, get your head checked.
