10 things about this game, good, bad and odd

They run in different situations, barber is mostly in against nickel defenses.

Barber usually comes in after jones has softened up the defense with alot of pounding the ball.

People are obsessed with finding negatives about jones. He is a very good player. Stop comparing and searching for negatives. Barber and jones both play their roles extremely well.

How did the refs not see holding on Ware on the first drive? Unbelievable.
Oh man was i angry about that non-call. THE FREAKING REFS WAS STANDING 10 FEET AWAY AND HAD A CLEAR VIEW!!!!! That BS cost us the TD. Oh well we we won the game handily so i guess i shouldnt complain but damn plays like that when the ref is there and they dont call a penalty make me really mad :bang2:

6. Could we do without all the gratuitous showing of the camera people, all the TV crew. Yeah, they work on Thanksgiving. But that is their job. The rest of us work holidays and none is given sainthood. Time consumsing, unnecessary. We appreciate you. Now go away. Along with that, Aikman and Buck had their children there doing some lame introductions. Give me a break and pass me another beer and LETS WATCH THE ACTION ON THE FIELD
My biggest pet peeve about today. Show a group photo or spend a couple of minutes at halftime (especially if that part of the show is going to suck as much as the one today did) but don't feed me the seemingly endless shots of all the behind the scenes people. Even my wife was complaining about that.

Jones lacks vision, never makes defenders miss, isnt particularly good as a receiver but somehow he is still the starter....

Barber is the more complete back....

Dont be surprised if we draft one again next year.... this offense is an explosive back away from being the best in the league-
We need to upgrade the O-line more than we need to upgrade Julius.

I think it sucks to be JJ unless he hits a home run between the 20's he is never going to see the endzone. I see him walking when his contract is up.

I think that is a bit harsh. Although it is definitely not my favourite part of the broadcast, I still think that it is very appropriate. It keeps with the tradition of family and comradery of thanksgiving. Clearly your saint comment is hyperbole, but I know all of us forced to work on a holiday wish they had the opportunity to let their loved ones know they are thinking of them on a national stage.

look i think its great to show thanks, love, and family etc. but when Aikman and Buck had their kids on TV and stuff there was just no time for that, the refs were giving out a 15 yard penalty and we were staring at Buck's face.

if Fox wants to do it, do it at a two-minute warning instead of throwing 3,000 more commercials at us

True, he hasn't scored a TD at Texas Stadium since 2004. Then again when you have Barber, there is no need for Jones to score.

Hey, the Galloping Gobbler is awesome. Leave it alone. Emmitt Smith recieved the first one if you don't remember, then Julius, and now Romo. It's all in good fun dude.

Leave the bird alone. I think it has enough problems. :laugh2:

It gets old. turkey award, ha-ha. Let's take some of Romo's time with that award. Ha-ha. Clever.
OK, for you, I leave the bird alone. For now:)

We now interrupt this family hour to get you an update on the field:

Eggsactly!
There was football taking place and the announcers were lining up their progeny for us to meet one at a time. The 10-year-old in the back is too cool to wish us a happy holiday.

Gee, just send us a CBS Christmas card with all them faces smiling (at union wage) and let us see what's on the field, sidelines or even in the stands.

Today's fan needs and wants a fast-paced show/game/entertainment.
