Dallas media does this because Dallas fans are so quick and faithful in falling for the ball-fake.

If they really want something to get fans *****ing, they should discuss Roy's comments about Tony not throwing him catchable balls up on DC.com's post-game footage. I'm surprised that hasn't become a topic of non-stop conversation yet.

When it comes to football... 105.3 lacks any depth. They will just spit out whatever the most controversial topic would be to get callers.

You forgot to add and knowledge to the part in bold. I swear that station is geared for the short bus audience.

Ridiculous. What former UT players WOULDN'T do that as a touchdown celebration the day after Texas won a game to send them to the National Championship?

He's been doing it since he got here even besides that.

They are ripping Roy for an understated celebration following a TD? I'd love to hear their reasoning.

Me on the other hand, I'd just love to hear them shut up and stop acting like Orange County Housewives.

What is the big deal? He does a hook em sign... It's not like we were getting blown out. It actually gave us the lead. So are they trying to say that the cowboys aren't allowed to celebrate after touchdowns? Roy's celebration is about as casual as it gets, and they are saying he shouldn't do it?

And i don't know what it is about the giants but we just can't tackle them, and scandrick is awful against them. I was thinking i wanted to see them again in the playoffs, but i'm not so sure. We just always have trouble with them. How the heck can we continuously allow steve smith to get WIDE open?

And how does brandon jacobs outrun the entire defense? Dude weighs more everyone except the dlineman. But that was a clear hold on sensabaugh that the refs did not call. But whatever. They probably score a few plays later anyway.

Roy did it in Detroit too. Roy is a Horn and always has been. Is it really any different then all of these guys from "The U"? To me it's no big deal. You don't want to see him flash the Horns, then don't let him score. If your a Cowboy Fan and you don't want to see him flash the Horns, then hope we lose I guess.

This whole thing is stupid.

Basically, after every loss, people are going to want everyone's head on a stick. There's no logic or reason to it, and like Idgit said, it sells like hotcakes because the audience in this market eats it up.

I mean, criticizing Roy? Of all Mondays to do that, this is probably the least appropriate one. Just shows how little rhyme or reason there is to this.

all the "anger" to me is stupid. the drama could take lessons from the anger in how to properly manage itself.

it's crap on a wicker stick, pure and simple. people will dog on roy his entire career now and if they don't have a reason, they'll make one up? why? cause he's a cowboy.

far as i know no one ever said anything about roy's horns while in detroit. but now that he's a cowboy, everything gets magnified and this is why i just quit paying attention to 90% of the media and around 99% of the bloggers.

it's not football anymore, it's drama. you pick a side and dive in and get extreme and in the absense of news, make it up. if someone calls you on it, get in their face and keep "emotions" alive.

keep the "drama" alive.

if "we the fans" quit giving dramafied crap all the attention it has to have to live we could get back to football.

but coming in here after a game, there's a lot of:

1. this no name buttnugget said this - THE HORROR
2. this hack was mean to the cowboys - THE SHAME
3. this player/that players sucks (designed to get reaction - REACTION

they do it cause "we the fans" play off it enough to where that's where people are going to go. to get the #'s, to get the traffic. that's what life these days is all about.

i don't give a flying turdball what any given mediaot thinks of the cowboys, good, bad or indifferent. since their job these days is to stir up people moreso than talk about the news and so forth, reacting to it simply feeds idiocy that makes it happen.

i don't have an answer. some people find validation in what they say, some shame, some just anger.

in the end it's what *i* think that's important. any numbnutt with $6.95 a month can setup a blogsite and unfortunately too many people have thought they were good at this and did just that.

we're on info overload and now they've got to take it higher into "national enquirer" status just to get the audience they used to have from the newspaper.

but all that aside, every time some hack with part of a name says something bad about the cowboys, some fan is gonna post it in here all butthurt cause they said it.

and i go back again to "who cares?"

far too many care about the most stupid of things.

Leave it to our intelligent fans to harp on something that had nothing to do with losing the football game.

The guys on the fan are about as bright as an iron skillet, as are most of those that call in.

That's why they're being picked on. They're mad that the two of them are finally hooking up. Did you see how happy Romo was after each of those TD passes? He was ecstatic that he and Roy are finally getting it together. This truth really bothers some people. He did miss Roy when he was wide open, but every QB has one of those a game.

That was pretty much spot on iceburg. It is really hard to just talk football without agendas and some kind of pointless bashing.

True, they are way off base half the time, and the other half they don't know what they are talking about.

Their format sucks, can't stay on one topic. Most of them lack even the basic knowledge on any sport. So it seems anyway.

Not sure exactly why they let Sean Salisbury go. But at least he knew what he was talking about most of the time. Didn't always agree with him, but that happens with all people.
