I didn't see the interview Tony Romo did with Michael Irvin but appearantly when he was asked about how the Cowboys can solve their December woes, Romo said "We are not trying to be a December team". The hosts of the fan are ripping him because they said he should have a better answer and make a statement with a little bit more desire.

They are ripping Roy Williams for doing the "Hook Em Horns" sign when he scored yesterday.

Why do I get the feeling that if we win yesterday, this isn't even a big deal.

Heck, Roy Williams' first down celebration is a lot more annoying then the Hook Em Horns bit.

folks get too caught up in what players do after they make a play

*throws keyboard down and shakes head uncontrollably while pointing at the sky, then gathers keyboard and hands it to hot blonde in stands*

Absurd media driven FOOLISHNESS. Romo was spectacular yesterday, Roy played very well. The true GOAT of the game goes by the name ORLANDO SCANDRICK. Played for a fool again in coverage. Over and OVER AGAIN! When Hamlin returns I would like to see Ball take Scandricks spot as the nickle corner.

Maikeru-sama - You should have heard Sapp, Carter and Faulk on NFL Network rip into Romo.

Dallas media has to be top 5 in the nation for loving/creating drama.

When it comes to football... 105.3 lacks any depth. They will just spit out whatever the most controversial topic would be to get callers.

I am sorry but you can't pin that defensive performance on one player.

That was a pitiful display of tackling by the whole defense!

Romo and Roy each had their best game of the season and they're being ripped? Wow. I wonder what the discussion would be if the Cowboys had won.

I don't know why people get so offended when Roy throws his hook 'em sign. Perhaps those critics attended a small unknown school or they are graduates of a rival program - but then again what school in Texas could really rival UT during these years :D

I get a sense that Jerry's vanity makes his team a lightening rod for it's underachievement. I didn't really have too much access to the local Dallas media pre-late 90's(except for business trips), but I sense that the circus-like atmosphere was created in the wake of post Super Bowl era collapse and Jerry's ascendancy as a media *****.

Oh, I agree 100%. But,...Scandrick WAS terrible in coverage. Has been most of the season for that matter. Mights just as well stick a cardboard cutout on the field. He's somewhat shaky in man to man, below par, BUT....when he plays zone he is WAYYYYYYYY BAD. Like he doesnt know whether to sheeet or go blind. Doesnt know who or where to cover. Could be he has a ten cent head, I dunno.

They are ripping Roy for an understated celebration following a TD? I'd love to hear their reasoning.

that station is terrible. They have to talk about things like this to bring in people. there is a huge group of people in this area that Hate romo. So that station is basically the voice of those people.

that is all i ever hear everytime I turn on that radio station, no matter what romo sucks and he did something wrong.

its a horrible horrible station, and it is catching up and passing espn1033 in ratings so unfortunately it will probably be around for a little while longer.

I agree about 105.3 but they are usually the only station out of the 3 that are talking Cowboys right when I go to work at around 6:45 AM.

Also, of the 3 Stations, I think 105.3 the fan opens up the phone lines a lot more (especially Newy's show), so you get more rants.

Thank God Norm is on now.

All I know is Roy Williams and Romo are the reasons why Dallas was even competitive yesterday so all the "critics" can shove it!

Big surprise that morons in the media are ripping on Romo. He gave them no ability to rip on what he did in the game yesterday so they'll just make up other reasons to blame him for the loss and rip on him.

As usual the media proves they're stupid and couldn't care less about being accurate with their work.

Ridiculous. What former UT players WOULDN'T do that as a touchdown celebration the day after Texas won a game to send them to the National Championship?
