11/27/07...What happened?

This has always been a puzzle to me. On the bottom of the forum it say most users on ever was November 27, 2007.

Can anybody tell me what in the hell happened on that day to draw everybody here.

Its driving me crazy, I googled it and nothing came up. So I was hoping somebody else knew what happened.

We played Green Bay on the 29th.

Sean Taylor passed away a few days before we played Green Bay. I just remember watching that game with my Cowboys buddies feeling odd that night. Commander or not it still sucked what happened.

ExtremeSkins have a HUGE forum. I bet they were checking out the tribute CZ had for ST. I bet many of those hits/visits are referrals from ES.

Commanders Safety Sean Taylor died and the site owner created a temporary background image and colors. Word of it got out to Extremeskins and a lot of their fans made their way over here to say thank you for remembering we are rivals because of a game, but in life we are still brothers and sisters.

A lot of our fans got upset that we did that. I have never regretted it. I never will.

In fact, I was just reading their board and some were insulting this board here in the thread about Shannahan starting his new job in Washington on Monday per a member here at Cowboyszone. Just because Commanders fans are on the level of Eagles fans, doesn't mean we have to be.

I visit that forum from time to time...When it's game day we have what? 500-600 active users on? ES have 900+...Those boys dont play lol.

but the Commanders have no other popular forums, we have 2 other online forums that draw different communities, if you add our communities together we have more people online during gametime compared to them, I went on the sites once and we had over 1,100 on with all sites together.
