We average over 1000 active users during the games.

I think he was referring to registered, as was I.
So am I. Our counts only refer to registered active users.

I dont know for sure... but for me...

Sean Taylor was a troubled man that seemingly found his way to living right and then IT HAPPENED.

Still a wonder how Sean Taylor's death affected everyone, seemingly. I almost never gave it a second thought, but that's just me.
Wow. I never frown upon honesty, but...

Just because Commanders fans are on the level of Eagles fans, doesn't mean we have to be.

I agree, I'm just stating the obvious.

Commanders Safety Sean Taylor died and the site owner created a temporary background image and colors. Word of it got out to Extremeskins and a lot of their fans made their way over here to say thank you for remembering we are rivals because of a game, but in life we are still brothers and sisters.

A lot of our fans got upset that we did that. I have never regretted it. I never will.

It was a classy move on the mods part:star:

So true, opposition of favorite teams aside, we are all human and I respect and honor what this sites staff did to show our sympathy and caring on the loss of a life.

It was a very high class gesture.

Meh. I didn't really give a second thought about Sean Taylor either. It's nice that we did that though. I highly doubt they would do anything like that for us.

I think it's funny how people make a big deal about someone they didn't even know. I'm glad the mods did that though. They didn't have to.

Two people have mentioned that they would not do that for us. That is irrelevant to me. I understand some people did not appreciate that gesture. I hate the Commanders as much or more than anyone walking this earth breathing air. That takes a back seat to doing right. I feel like we did right that day. We took it down the night before the Packers game. I felt that was right too. If one Commanders fan gained some respect for us as a fan base because of it, so much the better for us.

Nice gesture. It is better to give then to receive anyway.

I thought it was a great call and classy move by the board management.

There are some things more valuable that football and human life is one of them. People need to stop being petty and internet badasses. It was a sad day that a person who happend to be a Commander player lost his life when someone broke into his home while his GF and baby were there and tried to rob him. I can say without a doubt that MANY Commanders fans appriciated what we did over here. The mods over there had expressed a lot of thanks to that as well I am certain that they would show the same class and respect if a tragedy like that happend to the Cowboys, just like I am sure that the classes individuals would have something negative to say. Great move Hos and the rest of the mods, pure class like normal.

Infact here is what one of the mods over there, Jumbo, sent to me.

When convenient, would you pop into the CZ and thank the admin, zrin, the other mods (ABQ, Hostile), and all those in general who are taking the high road and wishing Sean well? I don't have an account there and have my hands more than full.
Sean's not just a person who many think has come a long way in maturing and having a good heart, he really was a fantastic football player who was just now beggining to come into his potential.

And though that is a very distant second to his very life, hopeful well-being in recovery, and his family, as a sports fan it's still true that losing such a talent even before fully developed is also very sad.

Thanks, sacase, for any assistance you can offer in sharing me personal, and ES' in general, appreciation to all our rival-brothers at CZ
