I think the point is, this injury will effect the way the Cowboys play offense. I think we will see fewer deep throws and more short stuff like we saw at the end of last year. Defenses will load the box and dare Dak to drop back and throw long.

We will need more screens, slants and short passing plays, but more than anything we need to run the football. If Ball can't pass block, but he can move people in the run game then at least they can resort to that.

He cant move people in the run game either.

I mean.............Josh Ball? LOL

Do you think Zeke is faster than Turpin? That is the sickness of the Zeke apologists. I literally had one tell me that Zeke is not only FAST, but faster than Turpin.
he didnt say Zeke was faster. he said Zeke had been timed slightly under the Turpin return with his run against carolina. Look I think Ronnie ans Steve and jazz and a few other are have too much faith in Zeke but if your going to qoute them at least tell the truth. You may be worse with Zeke than pappy is with Dak.

Im waiting for you to start calling Zeke 666

Pathetic.

Your agenda is more important than your fandom.

LOL...............oh so he isnt faster but he is nearly just as fast!!! LOL

Just the comparison alone is completely laughable. You can see the insanity of it obviously.

Look Zeke is one of my least favorite players and has been since 2017 but I dont believe in changing the scope of a discussion (changing ronnies words) to suit your argument. No matter how much you dislike a player

i dont think hes faster than pollard or turpin but he can outrun me. You dont win state championships in track and field being slow but that was 10 years ago.

Also a standout track and field athlete, Elliott was a state qualifier in sprinting and hurdling events. He capped his high school career by winning four state championships at the Missouri Class 3 state championships in 2+1⁄2 hours (100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 110-meter high hurdles and 300-meter hurdles).

I just think he has crappy vision

2 TE will make this line better and help protect & develop the tackles. But it requires speedy WRs like Turpin & Pollard to threaten defenses deep so they can’t stack the box or blitz consistently.

12 personnel can help, but it would mean that one of them or both have to line up next to the LT most often, which becomes a give away of sorts. however, I am not sure if a 4.3 guy would help, because when you lack a good LT, you have to get rid of the ball faster, the deeper plays take longer to develop and your time is much smaller...so shorter passing game, more of a west coastish offense, hitting slot, TEs underneath a lot.

This might be true if the TEs on the roster was decent blockers. I don’t think they have the type of TEs needed to run that offense.

The deeper play forces defense from stacking the box and the 4.3 speed allows them to get open faster and soon as he gets the separation the ball is released.

I have no issue playing a lot of 12 personnel, in fact it makes a ton of sense for this team, but the thought that Turpin and Pollard are going to be your 12 personnel receivers loses all credibility. It's a better idea for Madden than it is the NFL.

on the surface yes, but if you LT sucks and getting beat consistently, then the time throw is not much. deeper plays take loner to develop. and 12 personnel takes out WRs in favor of a TE or takes out the RB, in which case the defense can sit back and wait.

its not ideal.

Turpin was wide open in that post route. Like I said 4.29 speed and cat like quickness makes you available vs defensive coverages & schemes.

Did you even watch the game vs Niners???

The OL could not run block to save their lives and D could not stop run.

On top of that, Cowboys penalties were HISTORICALLY bad.

And HC continued to make or approve the dumbest most boneheaded head scratching calls I've ever had the displeasure to witness.
His run game has no creativity unlike Shanahan
