Okay the last three were kneel downs.. I am almost afraid to write this because I don't want to jinx it but my god!!! Has Moore FINALLY seen the line for real!?!?! Moore called 7 straight runs in a row on the second drive in the 4th quarter. SEVEN!!!! I almost shed a tear on that drive.. Especially after we wasted two red zone trips where Zeke gained 5 yards on his one carry each time and we went pass the other two downs and kicked field goals earlier. Handing the ball to Zeke 4 straight times in those situations needs to be our immediate goto. Quit with the damn 5 wide empty backfield in the red zone.. This aint fantasy football. We don't need to be padding our QB and WR stats.. Run the damn ball, eat clock, score touchdowns and win games.

Cowboys had a two-score lead so the playbook says run out as much of the clock as you can once you reach the fourth quarter.

I am not saying there has not been a change, but had they been down or up by 6 or less points, I suspect the play calling would have been drastically different.

The lesson was learned after that very dumb call at the end of the Giants game that managed to stop the clock late. If kneeling down was a better call than what you made you have issues. Looks to have been cleaned up since then.

He certainly tried on that drive after the punt block and again on another drive in the 3rd quarter. Zeke run for 5.. then two passes in a row and FG. Moore and Co. tried to stat pad and failed. My guess is that McCarthy told him "If you call another pass in this game you're fired. "

I loved it. They had the Rams reeling and on their heels. I wish they would've gone for it on that final 4th &1. But understood why he took the 3 points instead.

however he needs to realize when Dak comes back you kinda have to still call plays according to the situation and not call random plays

Yep and your hero Zeke got worse and worse as the game went on. There goes your "Zeke is wearing down the defense BS." It took Pollard 2 carries to do what it takes Zeke 3 carries to do. Time to give it to the better back.

Pollard continues to show his vulnerabilities though. Until he proves he can consistently succeed in pass protection Zeke is going to continue to out snap Pollard by a reasonable margin.

I'm right there with you. Hopefully watching this team be successful leaning on the run sticks with both Dak AND Moore when he gets back. I think if they do that this team can get to the Super Bowl.. Keep that defense playing at or above its current level and add what Dak brings as a threat in the passing game while still leaning on the run and just throw in the special teams winning week in and week out this team takes a backseat to no one.
