He may be more explosive than Micah. Very impressive full season, an impact player, always seems to be a playmaker and he is the guy who knocked Ekeler out. Did you see that hit? He may be the fastest player on team after Turpin. He is like a heat seeking missile fired out of a cannon.

Overshown is a damn good football player! He’s got a very bright future and if he could develop some moves he could be a nasty blitzing LB with that speed. Let’s hope he continues to get better. He’s everything I had hope for in Devonte Hollaman before he was injured.

Our biggest issue isn't talent, it's between the ears. Once we learn fundamental high IQ football basics, and how to play that way, this defense could be formidable. We saw hints at this today at times. We saw Mazi have a real nice game btw. Let's call him out for his hustle. He was giving them fits. Yes, overshown showed what he can do. But we need more. Need others to live up to expectations.

wasn't it D.Clarke?

He also knocked out Malik Nabers.

Let's not get carried away. The defense needs both players.
Yup, two years ago they wanted to trade Tank and build around Parsons...and then, some wonder why players want to make as much as they can. No loyalty on either side.

Last year I said he would become a fan favorite because of the way he plays. We had to wait because of his injury but now we can see how good he really is. Just imagine how much better he will be next year!

It was Demone Clark that knocked him out.

I think he needs a governor on that speed. He's gonna knock HIMSELF out if he's not more careful.

Imagine having a young stud and 20 million in cap space right now instead of that turd on IR. It would have been a smart move. I do not get the point of your post.

Right now, I'm hoping we trade Parsons and build a D around Overshown.
so rather than have an insanely dynamic duo, you'd rather split them up and ship out the 3 time all pro and build around the oft injured guy? bold

said that already, he's clearly our best defender, hands down!!!!!

Good defenses need guys that play fast and Overshown reminds me of like a prime Shaq Thompson on the Panthers. Realistically Overshown might already be better, but I remember that game where we beat Sam Darnold, Shaq was all over the place.

I remember he got injured in that game and the difference in their overall defense was significant. The first half of that game, it felt like he covered the entire field
