With our recent history 8 of these guys will be on the DL before the first game. So the question is what street free agents will we be signing?

Defensive Tackles

1. Tyrone Crawford
2. Ben Bass
3. Nick Hayden
4. Frank Kearse
5. Terrell McClain
6. Ken Bishop
7. Henry Melton

Of which I think we end up keeping what 10? So it should at the very least be a competitive battle in camp to see who stays. That competition at the least should raise the bar.

If going with best players on the field at the same time I'm hoping it's more like this:

DE: Selvie, Crawford
Backups: Mincey, Gardner, Lawrence, and maybe Spencer

DT: Melton, Bishop
Backups: Hayden, McClain, Bass

That's 11, hopefully we can stash somebody on pup, the practice squad, or in the death stars basement.

Having said that I'm open to some variation, possibly like this:

DE: Selvie, Mincey
DT: Melton, McClain

So many alternatives are possible but I'm dying to see who wins the camp battles, it's somewhat exciting. Just wish we had Donald because my faith in Melton at this point is low...
