172 ft double reverse somersault dive... INSANE!!

I bet hitting that water hurts like hell.

I remember Six Flags over Texas used to have high dive guys, though I don't recall how high they were. They were way up there though.

All of that and it TIES the world record? That's insane!

At that height why would you want to just tie a record? Raise it up a foot and go for gold!

Exactly. How much does another foot matter at that height? :laugh2:

seems like they used to show high diving alot on Wide World of Sports.

How'd that one judge give him a 7.5??
he should have walked over there and kicked that judge in the nuts.

They need belly flop competitions from that distance.

That guy has to have balls the size of Texas.

Maybe it was the french or russian judge.

Can't remember the nationality of the judge that raised the ire of so many in one of the Olympics a few years ago.

Where can I get one of those High Diver jackets seen @ 3:22?

First, you're gonna need to find a DeLorean DMC-12, w/ a flux capacitor, and transport yourself back to the mid 70's.

That's crazy... Those guys have to practice going in feet first from that height. Going in head first would have to kill you right? How do you practice that?
