You were on the plane in your suit? Lol

Just the head of it for a little while. Mainly because I didn't want to disturb the cabin too much. Trust me, when a Cowboys game is on, I can get very loud. So, having the head held me muffle my voice a bit so I could cheer on the team in a restrained way but at least able to cheer on the team. Luckily, the United Airlines crew again were very kind and encouraged me to wear it during the flight.

Let's not give all the credit to the offense.

It was the defense that initiated the blowout, not the offense.

The defense not only scored but also gave the Cowboy offense two drives that started on the Colts 26 yard line and 23 yard line, respectively. They gave the offense another drive that started around midfield. You could say that the defense was just as responsible for 28 of those points.in the 4th quarter.

The Colt's defense played valiantly but 5 consecutive turnovers, including 2 at their front door was too much for any defense in the NFL. If the Cowboys defense was simply average, the Cowboys might have won 26-17. However, they might have lost.

The Cowboys offense was given the absolute luxury of premium starting points for their 2nd half drives.

I hope this team makes some noise in the playoffs. The Christmas Eve game looms big for us.

I sense a W on Christmas Eve. Payback. It’s the playoff game on the road at Philthy that concerns me. Barring them choking away the division lead— the wildcard route looks unavoidable for Dallas.

That said— we can run the ball (watch out when Tyron gets back— yowza!!), and this D is plenty stout enough to disrupt opposing offenses and limit scoring.

The last time MM had a top 5 D, he won the SB. This team has flaws, but everything is in front of it to take hold of the reins and crush the NFC.

Taking on Buff or KC in the SB would be a huge challenge, but honestly, I don’t think there are too many teams looking fwd to playing us period. Dallas is dominating good teams, and dismantling the teams they are supposed to beat.

Aside from the ugly TB and GB losses, Dallas has far exceeded where I thought they would be— especially after that week 1 loss. Happy to admit I was wrong. Had them pegged for a 9-8 season, grateful to watch them play much more competitive football than I anticipated

All that matter is winning in the playoffs. If this team flames out and is 1 and done then where do we go. I want them to roll the dice in OBJ.

I do remember because I was there every day of every year on the old threads. This isn't about Dak or Romo. It's about them and their teams. Seriously, I never saw you complain 1 time during the many times them Romo-led teams were breaking franchise records like I've seen you complain several times recently during this Dak-led team.

I like that the Cowboys are scoring high, but he has a point about these arbitrary statistics that they keep bringing up. What's next "The Cowboys broke a new (insert some claim here) record during December games where the average temperature exceeded (insert random temperature here) and Mercury was in retrograde!" Why five games? Franchise records for something in a season? Sure. That's a whole season. 5 games? 11 games? 3 games? 4 games? Who cares? His point is that they keep bringing up this arbitrary stuff trying to increase ratings by manipulating statistics to create new records that nobody tracked before.

For example:
If the team had a franchise record for sacks in a season? Awesome
If a player broke a new team record like most TD's or completed throws for a season or career? Fantastic!
Dak's interception number his rookie season? Incredible and astonishing he had so few. That's a known full-season statistic that isn't some randomly picked number of games to create some new record.

These 2022 Dallas Cowboys are special. So special at scoring points that their 199 points scored in the last 5 games has turned out to become the most points scored in a 5-game span in 1 season in team franchise history.

The previous record was 193 points scored in a 5-game span way back in 1968 under the great Coach Tom Landry and a team led by the great "Dandy" Don Meredith, Don Perkins, "Bullet" Bob Hayes, Rayfield Wright, Bob Lilly, Chuck Howley, Jethro Pugh, Cornell Green, Mel Renfro, etc.

Hey guys, I think a lot of us were concerned how close the game was after 3 quarters.
We seem to play down to the competition and it was appearing that was happening again.
Letting an inferior team hang around is not good.
See green bay game.
That’s what this team does. Plays down to competition and plays up to competition. Ever since I can remember.

The Dak fanboys will crow; and then when he screws up they will act like nothing happened
Fanatics are the same everywhere
Dak was up and down this game; thankfully more up then down.
I want more consistency out of him.

Now as regards our OC....
Unfortunately Jethro loves KM like he did Ginger so we are stuck with him

Bluntly speaking KM is our Achilles Heel

Baloney. I critique when it needs to be .and praise when it’s deserved.

You couldn’t be more wrong about Kellen Moore. But you’re welcome to your opinion

Great achievement. Lets not get crazy because that is certainly not all Dak. But this offense has kicked into another gear since he came back.

That 1968 season ended horribly in 1st round of playoffs after reaching NFL Title game in consecutive seasons .

Prescott finally has the team around him including a defense . We shall see come January. And we’ll have to do it on the road .
