I honestly believe had Jimmy stayed, the Cowboys would have won 4 straight Super Bowls.

The Cowboys swagger and confidence left when Jimmy left, along with his attention to details.

Three turnovers which were converted into touchdowns and a 21 to nothing hole to overcome before the end of the first quarter of the '94 NFC championship game. Those are not gifts which you should extend to an elite team like the 49ers. I've always thought that if Johnson had been on the sidelines that day, those turnovers would have never happened. His imposed discipline would have prevented them from occurring, but que sera sera, I guess.

'93 team did overcome so much to claim the crown.

It really put into perspective how arrogant and self centered Jimmy was as well.

I agree.

Turnovers are mental mistakes, unless you just get hit so hard the ball comes loose.

The Cowboys mentally weren't in that game. I don't think they came into the game with the swagger they had in the two previous championships. And only when they were down by 21 did they go for broke and let it all hang out.

That's how talented that team was, and if it weren't for questionable play calling by Switzer (becoming too agressive in play calling when we had scrapped our way back to within 10), we would have gone in the half down by 10 instead of 17.
