Against the Eagles when we had 1st and goal... did we run it all 4 times?

That wasnt even a great goal line stand by the Eagles as it was unimaginative by us?

How about a bouncing to the outside.... they were all playing the run up the gut.

1st down from the 7 and we did throw a pass that got us down to the 1. Sorry from that point you should be able to run the ball into the endzone and one of the runs was to the outside but Hoyte did not get out in front to make the block. It was a very good stand by the eagles they beat us on the line of scrimmage.

No, the first play was a pass to Fasano.

The last play was a toss to the outside, but the blitzer stuffed Barber.

Play calling had nothing to do with it from the 1 yard line a team should be able to run the ball for a TD. This notion that some how we should have ran a different play is flat out stupid, players are paid to execute and from the 1 there is no excuse for them not to get it and it had nothing to do with the coaching and everything to do with player doing their damn job.

Hoyte was blocking to the inside.

The Eagle was rushing from the outside.

Very difficult to make that read.


I think play-action to our TEs would have worked.

And if we pass and don't get it then everyone starts up with this why did we not run the ball? This gets a bit old from the 1 yard line any coach should expect his line to get enough of a push to get 1 lousy yard. Eagles held their ground and made the plays our guys failed that is on them no one else.

On 2nd down, we should have playaction to MBIII up the middle and roll Romo out with the option of running or passing it in for a TD. It would have been a easy 6. Romo is mobile and great on the move, can't believe we didn't do that...

Goal line stands happen. They were playing the RUN hard, knew it was coming each time.... so a pass out to the left or right leading the receiver to the sideline might have been nice or a fade....

Yes gaol line stand happen and passes get pick and had Dallas thrown it and got picked you guys would holler about not running the ball from the 1. Sorry it comes down to the men in the trenches doing their damn jobs. You want to blame play calling fine but picking up 1 yard is on the players not the coaching staff.
