We are planning a trip to game this year including all the tours. What are some things I should plan for? Any information would be helpful. Go cowboys

High prices..............:muttley:............j/k, well maybe not....

Do you mean plan for at the game or stadium, or around the area?

Take the full tour and not the self guided tour. The pro shop in my opinion is not as good as what it used to be. But still worth going to depending on what you are looking for.
May be a good idea to eat before you go to the game. Not because of the prices or food, just don't have to wait in lines...LOL...though where my season tickets were, there wasn't much of a wait too often.

You can save money by looking for Cash Parking Lots instead of in Cowboys Lots

If you're coming for the home opener,EXPECT it to be super hot and humid. I don't even tailgate until the end of september. It's not fun getting a sunburn and a headache before even walking into the stadium. I was even drinking Pedialyte to keep myself hydrated.

If you see me, EXPECT that I'll be drunk.

You don't have to stay in Arlington. There are several hotels close to the airport in Irving, and it's like 4-5 miles north on George Bush, or HWY 360.

If you're getting a rental car or driving here, go ahead and pay for the parking ticket to a Cowboys lot and tailgate. The tailgaters are a different crowd than the corporate douches inside the stadium. We tailgate really well here.

Go to Redneck Heaven by the stadium the night before. You have to take a minnow shot, and tell the waitresses it's your birthday. Trust me.

Anyone think the 400 levels are worth it?

I'm thinking about buying some tickets that are center of the field but 400 level. I'm going more for the experience so I don't want to pay much more than 200 bucks a piece...I also don't want crap seats.

Depends on how much you want to save vs. how much you want to walk.
Save $30 but walk an extra mile or two.
Yeah, I park at one of those businesses on the left..one of the first parking areas on that road. It's quite a hike to the stadium. I'm always nervous I'm gonna get towed, cause the guys running it look like they just showed up and started parking cars.ha

Only the first 5 or so rows. Mine are 434, row 1. It sounds crazy, but anything after that looks like it's WAY farther away. The 300 level is the best level, imo.

A friend of mine got 400 level, about the 30 yard line about 5 years ago. Can't remember what he paid, but he said they were very good seats. Not as good as what I had, but for the price they were good. I had silver club level 300.

I rarely did the tailgate thing, for that reason, way too hot. We did in October, November and December, but only when the weather was good. But not often. We would meet some friends at their tailgate area. But I never cared for all of that. I am not one to go get drunk before or during the games. I would go to my bar i owned at the time after. Drink for free. Either celebrate a win, or drown sorrows if a loss. LOL.

300 level is great.
My seats were section 313, row 1, Cowboys sideline.

Yeah difference between 300 and 400 right now is about 400 bucks.

Obviously I should wait till the market settles down but I have the money set aside for these and I don't want life to happen in the meantime.

You owned a bar? Nice. Which one are you? Charlie, Mac, or Dennis? Lol
