300 level is great.
My seats were section 313, row 1, Cowboys sideline.
Yeah, my plan was to trade up and pay the difference in the Psl and get to the 300 level, but when I enquired she said they have no more on that level, and I would have to sell my PSL, then buy someone else's on that marketplace site. I should have gone with the 300 level seats I looked at. Oh well.

You owned a bar? Nice. Which one are you? Charlie, Mac, or Dennis? Lol

LOL..I owned one in Euless, still involved with it. Just not as owner. But feel like it at times..LOL.
I can still drink for free, but not drinking right now, too many meds for now.

If you're coming for the home opener,EXPECT it to be super hot and humid. I don't even tailgate until the end of september. It's not fun getting a sunburn and a headache before even walking into the stadium. I was even drinking Pedialyte to keep myself hydrated.

If you see me, EXPECT that I'll be drunk.

You don't have to stay in Arlington. There are several hotels close to the airport in Irving, and it's like 4-5 miles north on George Bush, or HWY 360.

If you're getting a rental car or driving here, go ahead and pay for the parking ticket to a Cowboys lot and tailgate. The tailgaters are a different crowd than the corporate douches inside the stadium. We tailgate really well here.

Go to Redneck Heaven by the stadium the night before. You have to take a minnow shot, and tell the waitresses it's your birthday. Trust me.

Miley giving good advice here. If you park off site and catch a shuttle, it's great going in because they drop you right in front of the Stadium. What they don't tell you, until you have already paid and are on the Shuttle is that your Rally Point, after the game, can be a stretch. Be sure you understand how far away the Shuttle pickup is, before you sign up for a shuttle and even then, you can't be sure that they will tell you the truth on distance. If you are tight on Money, I might go ahead and spend for parking and go cheaper elsewhere, if at all possible. If you have kids or you are taking your Wife/Husband, it's nice to be able to just walk a short distance and get in your car. Traffic might be an issue but better to sit in your car, in the AC, rather then walk in humid high temps.

Which bar?

It' called The Den, on Industrial, 7 miles straight up Collins from the stadium.

Been a local neighborhood bar since the mid 70's. Some call in a hole in the wall, but it's a great hole in the wall...:D...it's old and smokey, but great atmosphere.
Something for everyone here. Darts, pool, shuffleboard, karoake, dominoes, poker, 8 liner games (slots type games for those that don't know what 8-liners are).
Good dance floor, well it need resurfaced, but about to do that.
It can get pretty well crowded on weekends and some weeknights. Then some days and nights it can be slow.

Several of the customers have been coming in since the first day it opened. One is the #1 tenured employee of American Airlines....LOL...

Thinking of going to the opener (with my son) against the Giants or the game vs. the Packers. Anyone have 2 tickets for sale for either game? If so, please PM me with info and price wanted. I live in Rochester, NY and would love to go to one of those games but need to get tickets without getting jobbed on the usual ticket websites. Thanks!

Sweet. I'm going to go up there soon. I've been once, and I liked it. If you happen to be up there and you see a guy with a Tom Landry tattoo, that would be I.

Anyone with some decent tickets available for the Rams or Packers game, I would appreciate a PM as well. I know it's not going to be face value.

the packers ticket will be the hardest to get this year and the most expensive. The rams game will be the easiest and I bet will be the closest to face value the week of the game.

Chiefs 11/5

That is going to be an expensive ticket. The last time the chiefs were here was 05 and those chiefs fans bought a ton of tickets. I expect the same this time since its been 12 years.

Usually its the nfc east games which are the most expensive but this year its going to be GB and KC. I really am going to be upset sitting in my seat surrounded by these people because everyone sells for profit.

I figured as much. Still the Rams being only the second home game of the season might make it a draw...especially if the team is doing good and for the local people who don't want to stay up late watching the Cowboys play the Giants for the third straight year.

Thinking about jumping on a couple tickets on the second row of the 408 level. Tickets are about 230 with fees but parking is included. I figured it's not half bad since parking is already about 100 and the seats don't look bad at all. I will see if they are still available when I get out of work in 90 minutes if I don't talk myself out of it.

Patience is definitely a virtue in trying to get a deal in the secondary market but I have the money sitting aside now and I don't know if I can wait 5 months to get the best possible deal.

This is a very good point.
Especially inside the stadium.

I went to the very first game vs Giants in 2009.
I left NY Sunday morning. I was sick as a dog.
Got there for afternoon game.

The air is dry and feels thin.
Combined that with no breeze it feels weird.

Funny thing. I flew home Monday morning. My cold was gone.
The air completely dried me up.

Lol

The roof and doors were open that night and it was about 100 out. That is why it was so hot. They almost never open the roof and doors anymore. I am usually freezing when I first go in there because the A/C is so cold.
