I'd do it if u could lump them together... even then idk who would even give a pick for that trade... CLE?

I'd give them up for an extra 5, I'm running to get The paperwork filed if it's a 4.

Doubt they trade Swaim. The offense is really built around the TE and having TE's that can block and catch. #3 TE's almost always make the 45 man roster on gameday because of special teams which Swaim does. You're basically relying on Hanna, who just missed an entire season due to injury, to stay healthy. If Hanna goes down, not having Swaim would really hurt because we're relying on Rico to be ready and I don't think he is, yet. Swaim's an excellent #3 TE and a pretty good #2 TE all things considered.

Morris is more likely to happen since there's been talk of that happening for quite some time. Giving how Rod Smith and Keith Smith played and Garrett liking to keep 1 Fullback on the roster, that could leave Morris the odd man out. I think it all comes down to the return game for DMC and Morris. If we feel we have respectable returners then we may be more likely to keep Morris. If not, then we'll likely keep DMC.

I'm a McFadden fan, but no way I'd trade Morris, especially if he keeps running like he did Thursday.

He did the same thing last preseason and then was pretty blah when the lights came on for real, if I recall.

I can't let one preseason game against backups dictate anything.

I'm starting to question the fixation with McFadden and I don't know if the team is as high on him as other people feel. After all, we did keep him as essentially a healthy inactive through the meat of our schedule last season.

Morris has a running style that is a better fit in our system but he does not have the attributes you want as a backup...he is a better starter. Smith does have some of those attributes more and I believe more long term upside considering how much he has improved since he has been in the league.

Hard to base anything on a Cards team who treated the game like an extended scrimmage.

Nobody is going to trade with us either.

Depth is important.

Seems like the most logical
Hanna is paid much more and if rico is the future seems smart to fill other te spot cheaper

This.

And beside his contract, Hanna's knee can be an ongoing concern.

I don't know about Rico being the future but they sure do owe it to themselves to find out before Witten retires. I think he has shown enough promise to earn roster spot.

I would add QBs Moore and McCown to the list of players the Cowboys could trade after 1 preseason week. I could see one of the two getting traded during the final week of camp.

Here’s a look at two position groups where trades might be possible before the regular season starts. This article, of course, is not claiming the team can move on from any player based on a single preseason game. Much more evidence the Cowboys would be fine without them will need to present itself. This is simply a nod to a down-the-road possibility ....
The one thing the NFL hasn't figured out. I wish trading in the NFL was as big and exciting as it is in Baseball and basketball
