1) Is Mike McCarthy going to be the Head Coach next year?

Yes. No way he's fired now. That was a well coached and prepared team tonight. No turnovers and hardly any penalties. Even if the 49ers crush Dallas next week, Mike is going to be the Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys Football Team in the 2023 season. Unless he retires of course.

2) Is Dak going anywhere anytime soon?

Absolutely not. I was under the belief, that if he played poorly tonight and the Cowboys lost, it would mean that the 2023 season was going to be his last as the QB for the Cowboys.

With his performance tonight, I would not be surprised at all if he and the front office work on an extension this offseason. Only Dak's 2nd playoff victory, but he's been great in the playoffs even if his record doesn't indicate that.

Dak is the commander of this team and that's not changing in the next couple of years for sure now.

Some won't like it, but you're correct on both counts.

I still have questions about both of them, hoping for positive answers in coming weeks, but they're not going anywhere.

With his contract he isn't going anywhere. Not sure if this was any kind of real possibility.
I thought the front office wouldn't touch or restructure his deal in the offseason and either trade him or release after next season (if the result of a one and done or less was achieved in 2023).

Yeah, first road playoff win in 30 years makes MM a lock to return in 2023 and Dak probably gets an extension to lower his cap number in the offseaon.

Moore probably saved his job as well if there was any question about it.

Agree completely. Though I never thought they were going anywhere. They weren’t going to let a back to back 12 win coach go and Dak is here long term until games like Washington are the norm…and they won’t be.l. Take this to SF

Romo didn't win his 2nd playoff game until 2014. His 12th year in the league and 9th as a starter.

Dak's in year 7.

Just an awful, AWFUL night for the Anti-Dak Cult Members.

took 7 years for Dak.
Not much to be proud of is it?
Of course BOTH of them were dragging lousy HCs behind them pretty much all the way.
Romo only got half a season under BP then suffered
Dak had ginger until last year
Maybe so called football experts like you need to retake football 101

Still need to draft a QB if only to keep him on his toes.

This is not because of this game or any game lol. His contract dictates what will happen within the next two years and that's that. If you mean the time after that, then all I can say is that there's still alot of football to be played until then. So no need to worry yet.

Only important thing now is the game against the 9ers.

And as far as Mike goes, IF I was him and won the SB this year I'd resign and take over another team with an owner, who lets me do the talking/deciding/coaching/everything and shuts the f*** up, lol. :)
