With the re-emergence of Patrick Crayton and his new found speed or fountain of youth, curtesy of Steroids and or Micheal Johnson's Usain Bolt training in the offseason, Crayton has become the #1 WR! Garrett has used Crayton much like he did Owens last year with reverses and primary routes on 3rd down...

Roy has not lived up to his 45 million or the "Galloway" draft picks* used to acquire him. When Roy begs off after every fly pattern it lends weight to the claims of him being LAZY, dropped TD pass v. the Panthers has not gone unnoticed by his critics doubting his MOTIVATION to win...

Some would say the criteria of a #1 WR, is the ability to draw and beat dbl teams, that being said, Crayton is emerging as the #1 WR on this team... while teams like the Panthers use rookies to man up on Roy.

During the Sunday night broadcast v. the Giants, Chris Collinsworth said, Roy was basicly usesless on "his" plays called in the huddle prompting a position swap with TO. If Garrett continues to key Crayton in the Offense, Roy will have to swap once again... Swapping his #1 WR title with a 6th round draft pick from NW Oklahoma.

Good news, Jerryland will not have to worry about a #2 WR again, this year!

* Galloway was aquired by 2 first round picks but the second 1st round pick's value is equal to a 2cd round draft pick in that current draft, according to the Jimmy Johnson chart.

To be fair, crayton and romo have played together slot longer and already have chemistry. Personally, even though I didn't like the trade, it did allow Jerry to rid himself of Owens, who just wrecks lockerrooms.

Well first off, Crayton was a 7th rd draft pick. Thats just many things that are wrong with your post...

It would be nice for Crayton to show up in the big games. He's really good against weaker teams but when we have a big game he seems to hide. Roy Williams is a number 2 and Crayton is a 3. Yes, we need a number 1 but we dont need that with our running game.

You know why I'm ok with you calling Crayton a #1 and Williams #2? It doesn't matter who is a #1...what matters are Wins.

It's an Owensless WR corps. I'm good with that.

Wait a sec, Crayton has 4 more yards through 3 games and you are ready to call him our new #1 wide receiver?

Let's tap them brakes there.

A. Crayton is not a #1, he just isnt.

B. Roy Williams has not played up to expectations, lets just leave it at that.

C. If we can continue to rush for almost 200 yards a game, they could line me up at WR and it wouldnt really matter. In other words, you dont really need that good of WRs if you can run the ball like we have over the first 3 weeks of the season.

Our #1 receiving threat is the best TE in football. In addition to that, we have the #1 running game in football. We have the #3 offense in the entire NFL. So we don't have Moss and Carter at WR. So what? We have a solid bunch that happen to be exceptional run blockers (that does matter even if it's not the most important thing in a WR). You don't need to be All-World at every position to win in today's league of parity.

This offense is producing and has yet to fire on all cylinders. The special teams have been very good. The defense needs work, but is showing signs of improvement. Gotta stay healthy and work a few kinks out (EVERY team has at least a few) and this team could have a great season.

Dallas doesnt have a number 1 reciever. We have two number 2's that can get the job done. I'm ok with that, since we have two number 1 Te's and a amazing Running game.

Oh brother. When are you folks who hate Roy Williams going to get this through your thick skull. He was never supposed to be the #1 option on this team anyway. You all annointed him that. Owens wasn't the #1 either.

Jason Witten was, is, and for a long time will be the #1 option. Williams and Crayton are doing just fine in their supporting roles of Witten and in helping our running game do what it's supposed to...allow us to win games.

I just wonder if they can get it done against stiffer competition.

But like someone else stated, if the running game continues to shine, then this may not be as big of a deal.
