I don't think it's a big deal. Punish them in-house and move on.

This only concerns me If 20 guys missed an actual practice or pregame meeting or if this occurred the night before a game. Those are legit concerns, IMO.

I don't even know what to think on this Dez stuff. I thought he was really maturing but maybe the Cowboys have just done a really good job of keeping these things in house.

I think they have learned how to manage him better and get him to carry out a better public face.

At the end of the day, if he produces, don't care how many times the authorities are called to his house. The main alarm about that is that it seems the same bad influences he was around when getting banned from shopping malls might still be around.

Suggested curfew? Face-saver?

Or maybe Ian is just pimping himself for a story, which is the far more likely scenario.

Alexander nailed it anyway. I wasn't quite sure if it was the same guy who's been laughably wrong in the past about numerous events.

Hard to say early on, but if the report is true "at the bryant house" doesn't necessarily mean Dez was even involved. Isn't he housing a host of family members including his mother who has a known history of run ins with the law?

Not to mention, if Dez was having issues it's hard to believe the national media would not have pounced all over that by now.

For now, I'll choose to believe what his well respected teammates say about him over Ian Rappaports sensationalism which has proven to be less than credible at times.

MIdnight over there is 6 pm in Dallas, so really they were back pretty early. :) Plus, I've flown over there a bunch of times and it can still be daylight when you walk out a bar at 11:00 pm.

It just shows the lack of discipline within the team and that starts with the lunatic who owns it.

It's not just about the talent but the environment around that talent. Jerry Jones is a coach killer.

Curfews were missed by players when Jimmy Johnson was in Dallas and there definitely wasn't a lack of discipline then.

I heard on 105.3 the Fan it was a "suggested" Curfew only ,according to the spokesman from the Cboys organization, no worries, they made last nights 11pm mandatory curfew..

Then why is Garrett feeling salty?

If you gave your child a suggested curfew before an important event and they came home 2 or 3 hours late, wouldn't you be a little disappointed or salty too?

Good point but even if Dez isn't at the house during these incidents it would show his inner circle is still a very bad influence.

If you want them back at a certain time then you don't suggest it. You tell them that's what you want. Suggesting gives the players an out.
