I did have a buddy who was in London (Bus. trip) and he said that he was late to a couple of meetings because the public transportation system was wacky.

Who knows, maybe those 20 guys were at a place and couldn't get back in time for the curfew because of the bus schedule or something like that?

Anyway, this has happened a lot over the years and it is just nuts to focus on it like this.

Well, it's clear that this is yet another case of the big, bad, evil, Cowboy-hating media coming after them again. Why can't they just leave this team alone?

Friday is the teams only free day to check out London
He doesn't believe it was 20 players
Nobody knows what the circumstances are--group of guys together could have been late 20 minutes (example)
None of the coaches are upset

To be fair, most of things Dallas attracts media attention for would be a non-issue in other markets.

Money rules everything around us, and the Cowboys are a moneymaker.

The media are essentially gold diggers, married to the Cowboys for better or worse.

You're right.

A report of 20 players missing curfew for an overseas trip two days before a game would be ignored if it were any team other than the Cowboys.

Evil media!

sorry pal but the underground rail network in london is second to none, covers an area bigger than most cities and trains run on average every 6-7 minutes. transportation issues are sn excuse

He was talking about the buses I believe. Anyway, it was a couple of years ago and I can't remember exactly what he said was the issue, but it was buses.

There probably were a few over the years and they were swiftly dealt with.

Now tell me the time nearly half the team missed a curfew under Jimmy.
pretty sure Irvin and nate and deion were guilty of this more then a few times snorting coke all night with hookers. They were dealt with swiftly by Jimmy probably with more coke and strippers

Evil media!

20 players is a group number, probably something insignificant like a guys went out for tour/dinner and the bus was late returning to the hotel....not an issue imo

Yeah, Jimmy was famous for not treating everyone the same. He said if Emmitt or Michael did something, they might get away with it while another lesser known player would get cut.

I'm positive the coach let them know missing a curfew was okay, as long as they weren't getting sloshed.

A lot of those guys have never been to London, they were probably sightseeing and hanging out as a team.

Not a big deal.

Ya why even have a curfew? Any kind of structure for a football team is rediculous. These are grown professionals on a 2 game losing streak so who cares. Everyone should bury this info as just another fun week of play. I wonder how the players who worked hard all week and made curfew feel? It's ok the GM plays outside the rules why should anyone else on theteam? Carry on "team".

Ok now I'm hearing they were not but a few min late and it was only a few boys. Much better. I'm calm. Moving on.

The only thing I've learned from this thread is that our Snowbirds are creeping back to try to see if it's safe after the nice six week break we had.

Don't worry, guys. It's still safe. We've even missed the attention-needing snark a bit. Somebody give me another nickname joke.
