20 Questions: How do the Cowboys Stack Up Against the NFCE

The Eagles roster is loaded - their only problem is Hurts. When they find a guy who can manage his limitations, they go places. When they get a Patullo type, Hurts just faceplants.

Washington's roster crumbled last season. They basically built a squad of Jayden Daniels and the cast from Cocoon, hoping a bunch of vets would be able to push an NFC Championship team over the finish line. Didn't work. Daniels has Lamar Jackson-esque, MVP level potential. But we don't know if he will be able to maximize it, and they don't have the roster to truly contend even if he does.

New York will be better because they can't be worse. They get a pass as one of these "old guard", "managed the right way" type of teams, but their track record for the past 15 years is as bad as the Raiders or Browns. Their GMs and coaches have just been trash.

John Harbaugh is the kind of "CEO" org-builder that the Giants need to return to respectability, but it'll take at least a season. And I don't think Harbaugh is the long-term answer either, because was too conservative to ever put a loaded team over the top. He would let studs walk every season to pocket comp picks, while having a 13 win roster and peak Lamar. The Ravens' window was open, and he never went all-in and took it.

As far as Dallas, we have our usual unbalanced roster, with an elite offense and an awful defense. The defense will improve by default - you can't get worse than 32nd - and that could be enough to contend if the offense keeps clicking at a top 5 level. More than likely, the offense and defense both revert back towards the mean, and we end up with another .500 type season.

I agree with this. My biggest concern going into a year I actually have some optimism for, is being bit by the injury bug hard in a couple key positions and it derails what could've been.

Philly was 11-6 last season, not some juggernaut. And they dropped yet more D players in their starting S in Blankenship, CB Jackson, LB Jaelen Phillips, LB Dean, and several backups. Their 24th ranked O got torn apart by Hurts's terrible passing and WR issues. Barkely's YPC dropped from 5.8 to 4.1 as Hurts stopped running, which means Barkley no longer was getting the pitch at full speed. Barkley has always been ordinary as a RB in a prototypical O.

It's easy to see Philly falling off even more as the player exodus continues due to the massive salaries paid to a few.

Thats the team that is very interesting because of the assets they drafted as well as the new HC.

Eagles should be similar to last year

Skins could rebound if Jaydens sophomore season was just a jinx.

Cowboys getting to a top 15 defense could be the difference maker.

Mighty low bar to set. Tha NFCE has once again become probably the weakest division in football. Put them in the NFCW and it’s a battle for last place with the Cards. With the Cards winning most of the time.
