Brother, I don't pretend to know everything they did in the off season, so my thoughts are just opinions.

But from what I've gathered, they got an old school offensive line coach who likes to run the ball, we drafted a blocking TE (I know that's not all he can do) and got a punishing fullback and a sneaky RB in the draft, plus brought in a FA who's name I can't think of right now. I got to watch my words I use around here. I didn't mean pound the ball every single time. I think I said we will be more balanced.

I agree with you that we might see more catches out of the backfield from our RBs.
I agree that they might want to. Just dont think they did enough to warrant that. If Leupke has a big role then maybe. They did nothing with the Oline and drafting Deuce doesnt amount to much in the way of pounding. If they wanted to pound it they should have used a top 2 pick on Oline and stocked up on RB's with a higher pick.

Yes they are. They know we’ll never get to a SB with him under center.
Thus….Dak over Dallas.
Imagine rooting for a player that holds your team back and then pretending to be a fan of that team at the same time lololololololol

You're a fan of that player, not the team.
Imagine rooting for the players on the team you profess to be a fan of, regardless.....That is what TRUE fans do....TEAM over everything and everyone. PERIOD.

Rooting to lose because of ONE player, when the entire team is pretty talented, including the QB (not elite but pretty good) ... that is not being a fan.

This Dak over Dallas is one of the most stupidest things ever stated. And now it is getting to the point of trolling and spamming.

A game we got lucky to win, at home, against their backup QB, is probably not something we should brag about.
LMAO! Brag? Looks like I'm dealing with ANOTHER poster who has a hard time comprehending what he reads like MountaineerCowboy. smh

We beat the best team in the NFC and the second-best team in football and you can't even acknowledge Dak had a very good game against them?

He had a very good game. As he usually does against the Eagles. But if Dallas doesn't covert that 3rd and 30, we lose that game to a backup QB at home. There's no getting around that. We got lucky to win that game although we played well.

Fair enough, brother.

But I don't think it was luck. A great play design that was executed by our QB and our receiver. Mountaineer would probably call it a busted coverage to not give our team the credit. But most busted coverages come from a great play design.

Man, I really didn't want to post this, as we know how it will go.
So can we get well thought out intelligent answers in this thread?

Again, some very good answers from all the writers. Mickey actually has a really good point in his write up.

As one pointed out, remember he was in the conversation in 2020 before his injury.
Question no. 3 in this DallasCowboys.com article series "20 Questions" was 'How can Micah win Defensive Player of the Year?'
If Parsons' and Prescott's 2023 seasons result in them winning DPOY and MVP respectively -- their team should wind up in Vegas seven months from now.

Some fans love mediocrity. Dak defines the word. Just like the Cowboys the last 27 years. Since you’re all into correcting folks. It’s most stupid or stupidest not most stupidest.

Wow the grammar police card….do you feel better…..

I preferred getting my A’s in calculus anyway.

And again you make a MOST “whatever” statement as fans do not want mediocrity. They do understand it is a TEAM game as well.
Something the Dak haters will not comprehend.

Actually he is mostly in the shotgun ... so your theory does not fly .....
Which is a shame because he is one of the best playaction quarterbacks if not the best in the league. I can’t wait for dink dunk Methodical football again this season. That’s what he’s done Best this is how we will win a championship in my opinion. not arguing a point just stating one.
