Nick Harris: When it comes to having a complete roster, it's hard to argue any team in the league having a more rounded group than the Eagles. That being said, the Cowboys do have weapons to match theirs. In the receiving game, the Cowboys have Trevon Diggs and Stephon Gilmore to match up with A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith. Up front, the Cowboys have arguably the best offensive line that Philadelphia's elite pass rushing group will face all season. All in all, the Eagles have elite weapons, but so does Dallas. Both games – or possibly all three – will be certified wars as both teams have the tools to match up with the other.

This iis Dallas vs. Philadelphia and recent history as well as Dak's memories...advantage Dallas. Beat 'em the tougher 3 straight!

Focus on opening whistles. Attitude to restore any damaged momentum to ending gun.

The Eagles lost alot of good talent this offseason

Had we lost the amount they lost the sports world would declare our roster barren

While I think the Eagles will be a very good team this year, i think they take a step back. Still a playoff team but I think they get 10-11 wins. Not only did they lose players, they lost both coordinators. I think Dallas wins the division and is the number 1 seed come playoff time. But if I were a betting man, I say they split the season series and we will send them home in the playoffs.

Do you mean last years "Dream Team" that went to the Super Bowl?
You mean the team that got to the SB, basically by default?

Weakest schedule in the history of the NFL (maybe not, but pretty close assumption). Won HFA because Dallas could not quite pull out a few games, but they still did got HFA.
The team that gives them fits in Dallas was once again knocked out by SF. Then they played a SF who did not have a QB.

I've never seen anything like it. They lose their OC and DC among key defensive players and they got better. We lose Moore and we will struggle. It makes no sense lol.

Anybody underrating the strength of the Eagles are not being realistic

Thank God the coaches and players aren’t …..they live in reality
They were the NFC Champs and I always take the approach that you're are the champs until you get dethrone.

But just like people aren't being honest about how good they are the same amount aren't being honest about them losing talent and coaches. It just makes no sense. How did they get better losing so many key assets? Because their backups project to play well?

Their defense wasn't good last year - Hargreave is really the only loss that matters.

What they'll likely miss is Seumalo and Dillard, assuming they don't have the ridiculous run of health on OL again.

Yes and no. Overall they had a good defense. But yes they had a few stinkers down the stretch. But they lost a few good players.

Hargrave, TJ Edwards and Kyzir White were good players. Then like you said you on offense they lost Dillard.

People are being delusional thinking they won't miss even a little bit of what they had last year.

They got smoked by every good quarterback they played, the defense will probably be the same and they should be better rushing the passer with 4.

It's just health and a more difficult schedule that are going to be their biggest problems, not what they lost on defense.

How? They got 70 sacks from their defensie line and 11 of those came from the interior of one man by himself in Hargraves. How is that not gonna be missed?

Yea they'll miss Hargreaves. They replaced him with the best DT prospect to come out in the last, what, 20 years.

But the point is that the gap between the two - especially when they added Smith on the Edge - isn't significant enough to fundamentally change how good the defense is.

Sack totals are pretty meaningless when they played the QBs they did.

Yeah and see I think this is where I disagree. At some point Carter may be better than Hargraves but I can't see a rookie will be better than him. He has to struggle as a rookie. Hell he's struggling even to play football based on reports from a few monthsa go.

And i'm not gonna knock who the Eagles D played. Everyone plays some dogs. Hell Cowboy sfor sure did and those same dogs lit us up at times too. Hell Gardner Minshew lit us up.

I just have to see it before I say the Eagles won't feel the effects of losing talent. We hyped this same talent up lats year now it doesn't matter and its easy to replace?
