20 Questions: No. 7, how Pollard has RB 1 success

splitting is when you share the load equally or close to it with one other back.

Pollard is now a "most of the time" player.

I guess thats better than what Zeke is right now..............A no time player?

:lmao:

Everyone knows your stance on hating Pollard and propping up your hero Zeke. You arent fooling anyone.

You put your cart behind Zeke and he made you look foolish. Thats not my problem. And now you hate Pollard for it.

Pollard has earned this chance that he is getting. He sat behind the slow and plodding Zeke for 4 years knowing full well he was better than the guy in front of him. And he proved that without a shadow of a doubt. Got paid and now its his turn.

I am excited to see what he can do with the horrid Zeke no longer standing in his way.

Maybe you should give the kid a break? Instead you continue to doubt and insult him.

-Pollard cant pass block (your have already been proven wrong)
-Pollard isnt good at short yardage, the Oline will have to block well for him to have success

Short yardage is mostly Oline blocking. So right there you show that you dont understand football. Its 80% blocking.

Pollard has already shown that he can run up the middle and with power. But I guess you need to look foolish again. No problem Ill be there to laugh in your face some more when he proves you wrong.

Now can Pollard handle 20 touches a game for an entire season without getting hurt? Yes, that he has to prove. I agree he needs to prove that.
Another of your worthless rants. That I did not read. Not worth my time. Because you prove nothing.

If you didnt read it then how come you responded to it? And how do you know whether its worthless or not if you didnt read it? BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

BUSTED!!!!

He’s not going to have the success he’s had as a lead back. He’ll be asked to pick up some tough yards, which will lower his rushing average and lead to more wear and tear. Every RB 2 we’ve used as a lead back never had the same success in that role.

They had every opportunity to add a quality rookie RB from the draft to share the load ...........for some strange reason, they chose not to.

Because just about all your responses to me are worthless.

NOT BUSTED !!!

Nothing to deal with. Your hate is a joke on here.
A bigger joke then Zeke getting cut and pollard making the pro bowl?

A bigger joke than Zeke still being unemployed and Pollard in the top 5 and top 10 of RB rankings?

Cmon, you took a big beating on that one. Not sure it could have gone any worse for you.

He's not a lead back. He's dynamic, but he will wear down quickly and be let go next year if the expect him to play 40 to 50 plays a games.
I truly hope not. 30 35 maximum should be his limit.

I imagine by the beginning of the season. We add another running back. Unless there’s a surprise on the roster already.

There’s a very tiny part of me that wants him to wear down so he realizes his value is in a tandem, and making him affordable to stay here longer after this year

We did see his average go from 6.5 to 5.5 with more carries. Still amazing numbers. He had almost 200 carries last year. I expect that to go up to around 250 at the most. Not that much more.

He will definitely get more short yardage and GL, but he will have more opportunities to break long runs. And some of those short yardage runs he will break for big gains.

After this it will be year #6 in the NFL. Despite his low usage, he is getting to that age for backs. You can't sign guys like that for big money. Now if he has some all world season, maybe you give him another year at a reasonable rate.

No we dont agree. A part time player is a guy that comes in for a few carries a game to spell the lead back.
He's a part time player....very good one, but still part time and you will turn on him if he gets a big contract...lol.....I know fans like you. Probably never worn a jock strap!

I forgot you were a Zeke homer. If Pollard is a part time player, then 90% of the lead backs are part time players. I would NOT give Pollard a big contract. not going to change my stance on that.

Peterson is the only type of back I would give a longer term, 10 million a year type contract.

Zeke is no longer here, so he doesn't matter too me.
